Good story, and narration.

Twists and turns

This was a great listen. It’s kept me guessing and once I figured it out it still made me think I could be wrong.

Flow

What a great read. I actually listened twice by accident which tells you the twists and turns are constantly coming.

Entertaining enough, but a little predictable.

The story was entertaining enough. I felt at times the plot twists were a little predictable (I certainly knew who the dark man was long before we got major hints). Most of all I just felt that the characters made too many really dumb decisions which bothered me. However, it’s an OK read and I certainly wanted to know how it ended so there’s that.

WHAT A RIDE!

From beginning to end, I was constantly guessing! Just when I think I have it figured out, NOPE! I just finished it and I’ll be thinking of this title for a long while. Definitely a multi-listen title.

Finally! A story without “before” and “now” laziness!

I’m likely exaggerating in giving it a perfect score but I did enjoy it quite thoroughly and the sheer fact that it’s the first story in this genre that hasn’t relied on the lazy writing trope of going back in time (before) and then present day, etc. bravo for actually writing a mostly linear story in the 3rd person!

Fantastic book!

A must read for those who enjoy mysteries. The author did a fantastic job in writing this book. It keep you guessing up to the end. The performance was wonderful.
