With today's interest in self-sustainability, I was interested in this topic. This audiobook is very thorough. It covers housing, feeding, handling and care of tge rabbits. Info on different breeds. Mating them and health and disease issues. Butchering, selling rabbit meat, and tanning hides. It also included a few rabbit recipes that sounded delicious! If you are curious about this topic...or you are already trying to raise meat rabbits but having difficulties...you need to check out this audiobook!

Very Thorough

The narrator is quite interesting and keeps a great enery the whole time. At first I thought she sounded a bit like an automated voice, but that smooths out within the first chapter. She is very easy to listen to and i wouldn't mind hearing g more from her!
I cant believe how this book covers so many topics so very thoroughly. Good job!

I came in blind with absolutely no knowledge of the subject. I haven't even eaten rabbit meat. This book will fully equip you with every bit of education you need to raise meat rabbits in your backyard. It covers topics from breeds, feed, housing, reproduction, and even suggestions for making profits off your rabbits. It even included a few recipes. I would have no idea how to. As I said, it is an all-encompassing book on raising meat rabbits. You need this book.

Amazing!

I have previously kicked around the idea of adding rabbits to my homestead. This book has convinced me that I would like to. The author mapped out the process perfectly. I understand the do’s and dont’s. Plus they were honest that it’s not going to be easy but will be rewarding. Equipped with this book will make my attempt much more likely to be successful. Interesting audiobook

I learned a lot about rabbits! Never occurred to me why would you want to raise rabbits rather than as mascots for the kids. But the author really demystifies my belief by providing the significant benefits of raising rabbits I was ignorant about, besides having healthier meat. She also talks about the best breeds to raise. The author offers comprehensive and valuable information. Really cool audiobook.

Forward Thinking!!

This book is ahead of its time. My wife and I are currently debating getting and raising chickens for both the eggs and the meat. The quality is much better than store-bought of course, and we're also becoming a bit on the "prepper" side of culture with the hope of becoming hobby farmers. This is why I found this book so intriguing. First of all, it's exactly what it says on the cover...but it's much more. It's a very comprehensive guide which is really all you need for the process of backyard meat rabbits. After listening to it, I was convinced that this is something our family can do without much effort and something we can add to our chicken and potential goat raising. A highly recommend the book!

From various breed types, caring for your rabbits, butchering, and pelt processing, every chapter is clearly spoken and easy to listen to and follow. Definitely recommend this book especially if you are on a homestead or farm like myself.
