utterly surprised

I did not expect this to be my favorite of the series. I found this series got better with each book. The banquet scene had me rolling my eyes at the drama of it with the literal twist...er. lol
I'm normally someone who tried to not pay attention to the age gaps in books, but this one was done well imo. it was the focal trope, but he's conscience made it for me.

Horrible production, skips nonstop

I love LA Ferris and Salt is amazing so I feel bad for even giving her three stars BUT, this audiobook skips non-stop just like a worn out CD. I have downloaded, deleted and downloaded again but it’s still happening.

First time listening to this author. Her writing is beautiful and not super repetitive, the spice was good. The plot was suspenseful. Overall good!

Older man fantasy

Loved this forbidden love story about an age gap & family ties. Full of lots of detailed smut, I might add. Definitely recommend it.

Everett’s voice was so good.

Absolutely loved it. The relationship/connections from Dig & Fade Into You were done so well. I listened to all three over a week. Couldn’t stop listening.

This was a forbidden romance gem! I binged it in one day and loved every second. The way the author kept me guessing throughout was 👩🏻‍🍳 💋! Narrators did an amazing job! I know in a month or two I will be wanting to listen again.

Ok. Longish

Good story, but longer than needed to be and too many characters with a convuted storyline that takes away from the romance of it all for me. I didn't really feel the MCs connection much and when I did, it was interrupted often by an intrusive thought about a dead friend or a knock at the door.
IDK, it's a good story with good narration, it's just more of a mystery than what I was in the mood for, I think. I would say it's still a solid 4 and plenty steamy, with good character development. So, well worth the credit.
Someone mentioned skips and bad production problems, I had no issues with that.

With all these tropes, I snatched this book up so fast!

A true age gap and add in best friend’s daughter with a dash of suspense, Salt was so good yall!

The tension in this book was thickkkk. It’s a slow-ish burn with the best push and pull. Cameron did not stop until she had this man completely unraveled. Daddy Everrette was a man obsessed when he finally caved. These two together were explosive and I could not get enough.

The plot was great, the secrets were shocking, and the spice was out of this world.

This you are looking for an age gap that will leave you fanning yourself, pick this one up!

CJ Grey and Cicely Meadows brought the heat with this one. I loved their voices and highly recommend this one on audio!

Great Starter

The voices were well done and the overall performance was good. I give the story a 3 out of 5 simply because I was expecting something I bit different. If I had listened to this before others, such as Dark Notes(though its quite tame as well), I'd have given it a 5 of 5. But it was a bit tamer than I enjoy. Well done.
