When the dead rose, Ryan Maxwell planned on waiting the apocalypse out in the massive Bunker he built after winning the lottery.

i hope i don't have to wait another year for the next installment. im hooked on this series

One of the best and well thought out zombie series I've ever listened to.

This is a great series. That is well thought out has excellent character development and most of the realistic family adventures are well thought out and not too sci-fi. Everything is well grounded in science for a zombie apocalypse genre of books.

Great story; keeps getting better and better!

J.S., another great job on this one! Can’t wait to hear the continuation of the story in book six. The journey you have Ryan and team about to embark has some surprises in store for us I feel. Keep up the great work.

Love this series

I love this series. It is funny, gross and amazingly entertaining. Can’t wait for the next book.

Keeps getting better!

If you’ve been on the fence about this amazing series, get off of it and grab part one! This is easily one of the best zombie series out there! The humor, horror and all the incredible characters make this a masterpiece of writing! Matt Crow is as top shelf a narrator there is! Seriously, this is one of my favorite series I’m keeping up with. Go find out why! You’ll be glad you did!

Best zombie apocalypse Bookout there ever falling in love with these characters now I get to just sit here and wait for book 6

Not the strongest book in the series but still a blast

The last two books have been more focused on expanding the larger After Z world, which is completely fine for a surprise hit like these books. I just hope we can get back to the main story soon enough. Although maybe a break from the Maxwell's might be necessary, if we can get a book that talks about the hours before and after Z-Day across the world. This is probably my 2nd favorite novel universe surrounding zombies, with the first being Day by Day Armageddon. If you loved Day by Day you'll love After Z

Boring, boring, boring!!!!

By far the least interesting of this series. Author says they’ll be more, but if any of the later books is this mundane and slow, he should just quit writing this slow and uninteresting series. The series started off good, but has seriously grounded to a halt. Not a recommend going forward.
