Love love love

I loved this book and Broderick as well. I really wish the author would consider revisiting this series.. there is such a gap in the market for MMF and FFM representation and she expressed it well.

the story is a modern dystopian world

i like how all three of them got their happy ever after in the end.

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed this story and am excited to see where this series goes! I liked the dynamics between the group but wish there was a little more struggle before they got together. There was almost nonresistance at all considering the history. The voice actors did great jobs bringing the characters to life and were pretty consistent in their portrayal of the characters. Overall good read!

going courtin'

I was tickled pink to have a romance story of the sobin' women. I was drawn in by the idea of finely choregraphed dark scenes. But kept listening for the intriguing story. I enjoyed it, I think you might too.

Not bad

Hot MMF romance with an interesting enough story. Not a fan of jumping in when there's a lot of backstory though.

Should be a series

I loved this book I just keep finding myself wanting to know more about the pain brothers. I think you shou do a series with a book for each pain brother and how they manage their brides. I really want to know about Rodrick and Collen even Grabe. And how they deal with their new life. I also know that’s a lot of books to write and plan but again love loved this Book

Honestly this book was amazing. The author did a great job of building the characters and the plot I feel like this series is going to be amazing.
Not only that but let's talk about the set up amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing amazing. Menage pairings are my favorite but they all lack one crucial element for me, sword crossing👀👀👀
This book however did not disappoint me in any fashion, it came through and it left no crumbs!!!!
I made so many detailed notes!
I will be enjoying this one again in the near future!

My ooooooonly problem was Eli's Narrator lacked so much depth to his voice. it was crazy monotoned but still sexy, although very off-putting but I got the point he was trying to make lol.

This author never disappoints and Abel was hooootttt! Loved the story and steam. Must listen

What the actual—?!

I don't understand how ANYONE could get past the first few chapters of this book. I gave it an honest try, I had HOPES for this! I LOVE dark romance and MMF so much—in fact, I write dark romance and a ton of MMF myself! But halfway through chapter 4, I just absolutely gave up. I was already narrowing my eyes in disdain by chapter 2, but HOLY HELL, the characters in this book are so UNLIKEABLE. Disgusting. Harlow; not by any stretch is she a "strong" character. If anything, I think SHE thinks she's a strong person. She has high tolerance, but no spine.

Eli is a pathetic adult using his freaking penis as a guide, and I don't care WHAT happened to Abel, to think the way he does about Harlow and say what he says is just DISGUSTING. Listen, I have an extremely high tolerance (believe me, I do) with women in fiction having little to no agency or power or being used like ragdolls by men. But there has to be some believability and agency in it, and I found all of this extremely unbelievable and, frankly, disgusting because of how there was no thought in these men's minds, just following their genitals and feewings uwu.

In some fiction, this wouldn't be a problem. But to label it as a romance and sexy and hot?? How tone deaf do you have to be?!

Now, here's the thing, I only barely made it 4 chapters in. That I acknowledge wholeheartedly. So maybe there's some change in their character later, but I severely doubt it. I felt physically uncomfortable in these men's minds and there's nothing remotely sexy or hot about Abel, Eli, or Harlow. Especially Abel and Eli.

The narration was...okay. The men sounded like poorly dubbed English voice actors, but the woman sounded a bit better...a BIT.

1/10 stars overall. Extremely disappointed.
