Great Stories Need Great Editors

The books are wonderful, but the grammar is poor & words frequently misused. It's a shame; since these flaws constantly distract the reader from the story as the. discerning one takes time to unravel the intended meaning when words that. mean the opposite are used. The confusion between nouns and adverbs is so constant that it almost becomes as charming as a secret
language being shared by the author, almost but not quite. In the final analysis we are left with great stories, great characters, and miserable editorial skill. I will continue to enjoy the books and hope for more intelligent editing in the future. The author and readers deserve it.

Amazing story

I love how it had Sara J mass vibes to it. Love it! Amazing and thrilling I especially love the end. Lots of plot twists.

Once I got past the change of Narrators I truly love the story. I love the twist and turns and the new characters!!!

I love the storyline and characters created by thr author. I have to agree with others note of the narrator. there are times when I zoned her out as her phone doesn't always keep your attention. I struggled at first to keep interest but eventually I was able to push past the monontay

great book, terrible narrator

they changed the narrator after the first book and I ended up reading them on kindle instead because this narrator just can't compare to elizabeth evans :(

SO similar to TOG

it's not bad just the characters are so much like the TOG characters. It's a little slow paced and all the times that Faythe almost died got a little ridiculous.

Interesting new characters along with an engaging story about the original characters. Can’t wait for the next book

Keeps getting better with every page!

I didn’t think I could love this series more, but every book is addicting! I cannot wait for the fourth books to hit audible!

This series is everything you knew you wanted and so much more! Incredible world, magic system, characters, multiple POVs, unpredictable plots, slow burn romance, enemies to lovers, anti-hero’s, the works. Just do yourself a favor and read/listen!

I am totally loving this series.
The writing and storytelling are imaginative without losing the reader.
This book can easily be enjoyed as a stand-alone.
Although, for ultimate enjoyment, I highly recommend reading the entire series in order.
Don't let the length of the book discourage you from it. Its length is actually a bonus to the reader!
This narrator is not one of my favorites. After a few chapters, the storyline makes you forget (almost completely) the lack luster, almost flat narration.

Story progression was very good…

but the narration was too monologue. There was too much time spent in repetitive sexual detail. It did not add to the story and less could have conveyed more.
