Enjoyed

Enjoyed learning more about Henry and Sophie. I read the series out of order so was nice to put together the missing pieces. I do not want to give too many details as I love to go into a story blind. It is nice how she has siblings as the side characters.

Fantastic 2nd book!

Aaron & Shelly really Knick this one out of the park with their narrations, totally bringing Sophia and Henry so vividly to life!

Entertaining

I read this book a while ago but I didn’t realise just how entertaining this book was until I listened to Aaron Shedlock and Stacy Gonzalez narration. They did a wonderful job bringing the characters and their story to life.
This may be the second book in the series but it can certainly be read as a stand-alone although I’m sure once you have meet one Aldridge you will want to meet the rest of these swoon worthy brothers.
This is Henry and Sophia’s story and it’s a entertaining, heartfelt, emotional roller coaster of a read.
Henry doesn’t have relationships on his mind, he is a stubborn man who has built walls around himself so he could survive the broken family he comes from and when he needs to move back the small town his father called home he drags Sophia his PA with him. Sophia may have thought her boss was the devil in disguise but spending time with him in a small town has feelings she has never felt before coming to the surface but can she break the walls down and get Henry to open up to some fun.
This book ticked all my boxes, it’s well written, the narration is fantastic, it’s entertaining with adorable characters, the banter is witty and funny and it has the perfect mix of passion, humour and angst. I highly recommend this gem.

I Love Henry & Sophia

Listening to Henry and Sophia's story was wonderful. Aaron Shedlock and Stacy Gonzalez were the perfect voices. They compliment each other well. The Aldridge brothers are my favourite characters of Ms. Burgoa. Sophia is Henry's match and can handle his over the top personality.

He loved her before he knew it.

The Aldridge brother's are six good looking, powerful men with different mothers. they have spent most of their lives away from each other and disliking each other. They are far from family. until their father dies and forces them to live together for 18 months in his will. Book 1 in the series is Hayes Aldridge's book titled Loved You Once. Each of these books are standalones, but I have enjoyed them in order.

So this book is Henry's romance, in away it's his redemption. He learns to be human and follow his heart, instead of just doing what his grandfather has set before him. He learns that not everything in life is a business transaction.

Sophia is Henry's #1 assistant. She feels over looked, held back, and underappreciated in her job. She wants to hate her boss, but she is attracted to him. She wants to quit her job, but she would never find another one that compensates her the way her current one does. Henry forces her to move to Baker's Creek when his father's will requires it of him and his brothers. She develops a friendship with the other women in the Aldridge brother's lives. Sophia is a female character that women will love. She is strong, sassy, and is devoted to her family.

I love watching these brother's grow.

Listening to this story was so much fun. The narrators did an incredible job bringing these characters to life.
