Was amazing

Loved Hades point of view!!! This story was extremely entertaining and sexy!!! Can’t wait for the next one!!!

A bit monotone.

I wish he had put more emotion and hit differences in this. This is a heated passionate story and the voice is so monotone and emotionless. He is just reading words, not voicing the story...
The book itself A++ I especially with her perspective read in tandem.

honestly listening to this story is insufferable. the narrator is not a good fit and I just can't listen to it. I was able to refund my credit back. thankfully! I will be reading this one the old fashioned way.

The story was great!

I loved the story, I always wanted to see where it would go but he made me want to disengage and just buy the book to read it myself.

I believe the difference in this and the first is not just the narrators but the way you can feel both sides of the story and it brings both books together in a way that makes me want to listen to the next

Loved it!

Is not often that you get to hear both sides of a story but I really loved it. I can picture Hades being his own person and the struggles he faces. The only thing that I did not like is the narrator, is hard to imagine Hades with such voice.

I think this would have been a great story to write in the right way, but it just was not hitting…. 1) That narrator? Has to go. He sounds so robotic and bland, white bread has more flavor than he does. And hearing him do Persephone’s voice was cringe… 2) It was so sex based, there was no real romance to it. I mean I get it, Greek gods are known to be very carnal and sexual, but… be different… I heard c*ck so many times it was a little overkill and not spicy at all, and like there was way too much MEAT (literally) in the relationship, not enough actual connection, I feel that it was more physical than anything. It doesn’t help also that the narrator did not make it feel very sexy… I was really excited to read something by SSC, but maybe I’ll try again with another one of her books…

Enjoyable read

Overall very well written spicy fantasy love story. Well read. Good for a relaxing fluff read.

If I hadn't already listened to "A Touch of Darkness" I probably wouldn't have been able to get through this book purely because of the narration. Many spicy scenes but tIt felt like being read to by one of those old-fashioned cop movies with an investigator in a trench coat. Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed the story itself but the narration really took its toll. The book adds to the Persephone and Hades storyline really well. if I were to re-visit the series in the future I'd probably listen to the Persephone POV and sight read Hades so I could get into it more.

The 10th circle of hell is having to listen to this narrator

Such a great story, but the narrator just kills it. Do yourself a favor and read this book instead of listening to it.
