Narration terrible

The voice/narration almost ruined it for me, but I enjoyed the story and twists. I probably would recommend the actual book for this one bc the audible voices are hard to enjoy.

What’s going to happen to everyone!?

I enjoyed the characters. How their personalities and relationships were portrayed. Loved the wife, despised the husband and kept listening to find out what was going to happen. Good beach read.

Horrible narrator

Just curious if the author actually listens to these and approves the narrator?? I had a hard time finishing this because the narrator was so bad. They should have just gotten a man for the guy parts at least that would have broken up the lady’s robot voice. I felt like Suri was reading it to me. The story itself was good I’d recommend the book and not the audio book I guess.

Whoa! I should've read this sooner!

Amanda and Paul Davis seemingly have the perfect life, but that's so far from the truth. Amanda wants a divorce, and Paul doesn't want to give it to her because it wouldn't look good for his career. However, after an accident on the way home from a gala, everything changes, and hiding a murder while trying to keep up appearances is difficult. Something's gotta give and someone's going down, but who will it be exactly?

Narration not great

The storyline was ok but the narration sounded like AI and really hard to listen to

Horrible Narration

One of the few audiobooks I’ve ever returned!!! The narrative is phrased badly and is so distracting that I couldn’t stand it! Shame because I think it could have been a good story!

slow story line

This is a very slow story with lots of unnecessary filler. The narration is very robotic.

The ending

The ending is good. Takes a long time to get there but it’s really good. I did not like the narration

Another “Gone Girl” Story by a Robotic Narrator

The “twist” at the end, was expected, this story reminds me of Gone Girl, The Good Girl, The Perfect Marriage, but at least in those books, the characters were likeable.

The husband was so unlikeable, that I was rooting for him to be taken away in the second chapter.

As far as the narrator goes, she sounds robotic and gives the wrong intonation at the wrong time, not sure if this is how the author and editor wanted the book to sound, but I had to speed up the voice to make it somewhat bearable.
