Serial killer among the everyday lives.

I Love audio books. I liked the narrators voice, however, I don’t mean to be nit picky,
it maybe a Canadian pronunciation, but the repetitive “deevorce” & “deecide” etc. was distracting. The writer had the characters say, “I’m so sorry” way too often. I was getting frustrated with the modern day, thirty something, characters acting clueless sometimes.
The writing starting getting better & stronger when it got to the 30+ chapters. Little details like the main female character changing her reference from the “cabin” in the woods to the “house” in the woods takes away from being in the moment.
Books and stories that are the most interesting have detailed descriptions of clothing, hairstyles & homes etc. that create realistic, multi dimensional characters.
Most of the mystery questions were answered by the ending.
I was left wondering about the pretty redhead and why she was targeted ?

This was my first book by this author. The story was predictable and I was ready to leave a bad review but I stuck with it and it won me over in the end.

The thrill! I was hooked all the way through!

Absolutely loved this thriller, just when I thought I had it figured out! I was WRONG & absolutely shook what happened in the end!

Fast, fun thriller!

I enjoyed this book! It reminded me of a Freida McFadden book, fast paced, easy, fun read. She gets a shout out in the book too! I did have an inkling who was writing the notes but not the entire twist or plot and was still surprised. I have enjoyed all the books I’ve said from Caine and will read more!
