I feel like a lot of people want to trash talk the characters for them "being one dimensional" but I think it's just a design... they are game characters, it's their stat sheet, it's not them.
In the main books things get worse for them as they very slowly level up and focus in and the game concentrates on what they do and increases those stats/atributes.
