Liked that they added a male voice but the over dramatic way they spoke got annoying quickly

Okay to get it out of the way, I REAALY detest the over the top drama both narrators use. I never got used to it nor will I. It’s like listening to a B k-pop movie with voice overs that don’t match the mouth movements of the actors. Just WAY too dramatic.
Now the story itself? Chefs kiss. I truly had a HARD time starting book one and never thought I had a trigger, whelp, I do! New trigger unlocked unfortunately. Once I, kind of, got over that? The story got good!
Even though I didn’t enjoy it so far, I’m bummed no more books recorded as I can LISTEN to books at work but not physically read them obviously.
All in all, about the time Payne decided to go after Tilly himself is when I had the aha moment which was confirmed at the end of this book. What a MAJOR cliff hanger this was!! Can’t wait to see what happens next.
