I’m so glad that I waited for the audiobook because the duet narration on this was fantastic! Casted perfectly and really helped to put me in the story!

Phew what a quick, great listen! The narrators were GREAT! Nothing was distracting about their performances and I LOVE getting to hear the male and female narrators interact. I liked that the story gave me complicated feelings toward the MMC. Do I like him for her? Not all the time, so I can't wait for the next book for him to hopefully grow even more on me.

Decent story. World building is sort of lacking. Love the enemies to lovers chemistry. Be warned, it ends of a cliffhanger.

Let me explain! I LOVE a good romantasy. I devour them and love when I can listen to the audio. But when I noticed this audiobook was so short, I was worried. I didn’t think much could come out of such a short fantasy, but I was proven wrong! Turns out, it doesn’t need to be 20-30 hours long to be good. I can’t wait for the next book!

I felt this book was slow we didn’t get much from the actual story. You definitely see things coming and I feel they give you exactly what’s going to happen in the summary. Not a lot is happening besides the two MCs messing around each chance they get.

If you are a fan of zero character development for a supposed enemy to lovers plot…this is your story. I don’t really like insta-lust so I’m probably not the best judge for this one! They went from hate (for no real obvious reasons) to lust and you are mine vibes (for no obvious reason again)…..just meh to me.

The Veiled Kingdom audiobook is a captivating journey that plunges you into a world of rebellion, secrets, and forbidden desire. Nyra, fleeing her cruel father, the king, is captured by rebels and forced to choose between joining them or facing death. The fiery tension between her and Dacre, the rebel commander’s son, is electric, and I loved the push and pull of their dynamic. The narrators did an incredible job, perfectly capturing the intensity and emotions between Nyra and Dacre, making the story come alive. If you're a fan of enemies to lovers romantasy, this audiobook is an absolute must listen and I can't wait for the release of the audiobook of book two,The Hunted Heir.

Amazing storyline, incredible performance. I loved that both performers were included in each chapter instead of female character impersonating male character during their chapter. Can’t wait to read the next!
