The story of the Skeleton King and his stitched-up Queen
A dark reimagining of a Halloween favorite…

My life was taken. My body pieced back together. My world forever changed. When I awake in the Mid Hallows with no memory of who I was before, I am thrust into a realm of nightmares and terror. Lost, defenseless. Until I find him. It’s foolish to trust anyone who dwells in the land of monsters. But after Kel crosses my path, my defenses crumble. The mysterious monster hunter keeps me safe, but what secrets lie beneath the bones painted upon his handsome face? Why am I really here?

I absolutely loved the way Sera and Kel matched each other's energy and ruled the Hallows together. And omg that ending was super fun, sweet, spicy, and everything in between. I absolutely loved Bones!
M.K. Blackwood and Corvin King were absolutely phenomenal in this narration. They took all the changes in tones and feelings and performed them spectacularly.
Quote: “When I saw you, I thought you were an angel. The light sent here to brighten the darkness that has surrounded me all these centuries. When I saw you, something illuminated within me, Sera. When I saw you, my first thought was that I'd never see any creature in the entirety of the mortal world or any of the levels of the Hallows as beautiful as you.”
“Sometimes it takes a monster to hunt a monster.”
