I wasn’t sure how Mitch was going to redeem himself, but this was done well. So nice to hear from everyone again, especially Emory and Max 💕 as usual. The narrator did an amazing job.

Loved this like the rest of the series.

My heart was broken and pieced back together. Took me so long to figure the connections between some of the characters at the end but definitely happy to see them. This was a great end to the series. I wished it was longer!

This was my favorite book in the series. I cried my eyes out during the heartbreaking beginning which made it all the more wonderful to reach the HEA. Magnus finally has all his brothers back :’) and when I realized who Mitch’s dad was I was so happy! Super lovely to have so many characters from the author’s other books show up in the story!

What an incredible redemption arc for Mitch and a beautiful wrap up to this series!!👏🏻

📖Mitch is a broken man at his lowest point with lots of anger, loneliness and depression. He found out a secret his parents kept, his father sold their company without telling him and all of his brothers have moved on without him after he has been so mean to them. Then comes along, Gideon who is the new boss at the company and they already hate each other.

Mitch and Gideon could not have been more perfect together! The push/pull between them was full of all the tension and banter which made them so addicting to read. Mitch is hurting and angry but Gideon stands his ground and is definitely the more dominate one in this dynamic which ends up being exactly what Mitch needed. At the same time Gideon was so caring and never gives up on him no matter how much he pushes. It’s a story filled with raw emotion and lots of trauma but also showcases a true redemption for Mitch with all the healing, growth and acceptance!

🎧AUDIO REVIEW:
Another outstanding performance by Zachary Zaba for this series!! It’s a single narrator for a dual POV, but once again, he utilizes his voice flawlessly to capture each character while using every voice consistently throughout the audiobook which brings it all to life and makes this such an easy yet emotional listen!

For Mitchell, he uses a gruff tone to his voice which perfectly brought out his anger and attitude while also showcasing his brokenness and vulnerability throughout the story. Then for Gideon, he used the perfect light yet dominating tone to bring out his alpha personality but also his caring side as well. I loved when Zachary used both voices back and forth to perfectly bring out all the bickering between these two while also capturing the fire between them in the spice! Overall, he delivers an amazing performance and I cannot recommend his narrations enough!!

This is the third book of the MM romance series, Our Exception which follows 3 brothers who were extremely homophobic towards their other brother Magnus in the book, Sem. I highly recommend reading Sem before this series in order to fully appreciate the dynamic and growth of these brothers!

A true redemption arc with an amazing narration!!

I have loved this series but this one was my favorite. I had no clue how Mitch would be redeemed but Cora made it happen and I was pulling for him from almost the beginning. It was nice seeing all the side characters again too! I cried and giggled and my heart just loves this book.
