Great listen

I could not stop listening to this book down. Jane Henry has made another family that I absolutely enjoy. Tavi and Elise are a great couple and the twists were great. The mafia stories are wonderful. The narration helps with wanting to listen.

Oath of Obedience

Loved the plot where Orlando Rossi leaves the prison and marry Elise but actually in reality it is not Elise it is her friend Angelina , his dominance captivates Angelina natural submissive natura, the book has hot scenes, packed action, I loved it.

Orland and Angelina

The second book in the series was another hit for me. Angelina trades places with her bestie, Elise, as she has been promised marriage to Orlando Rossi, but Elise is in love with her bodyguard. As their plan falls apart, Angelina ends up marrying Orlando.

You can actually feel how they start falling in love with each other, he is very dominant and she doesn’t think that she will enjoy that, but she is surprised with how much she does. But Angelina is very fearful of what will happen when the truth comes out.

I’ll not go into the ending so as not to spoil the story, but wow, I could not put the book down until I read the last page.

The audio of this book was also another hit from my faves Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. They are so amazing at bringing characters to life. They portray them with such depths, such as Angelina’s innocence but also her strength and Orlando’s alpha and dominance. This is why Kai and Wen are such an amazing narrating duo.

More Deviant Doms Greatness! Fantastic Listen🎧

Jane Henry pens another amazing novel set in her “Deviant Dom” series, I am loving this series and the mafia world she created. This book features another member of the Rossi family, Orlando, the first book, “Oath of Silence” featured his brother Romeo, who is now the head of the Rossi family. After power struggles with other mafia families and trouble within their own family, the Rossi family had suffered some losses and needs to build up strength and manpower. Orlando, the family enforcer, was just released from prison, and a deal was made for him to marry a daughter from another mafia family. Born in a mafia family, Elise Regazza, should have known her life would not be her own, she was expected to save herself for the man her father chose for her, she was not expecting it to happen so soon and with no notice. She also did not expect to fall in love with her bodyguard, but when her friend Angelina comes up with a plan that could set her free she goes for it, except there is a hitch in their plan and Angelina finds herself in way over her head. I admired Angelina for her dedication to her friend, her strength and her backbone. Move over Romeo, Orlando became my new favorite Rossi, the enforcer has a heart and when he shows it, wow. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is another cleverly plotted story with plenty of drama, both relationship and family, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Jane Henry, thank you for another amazing story and wild ride. The quotes from the Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at the start of each chapter were a great addition too.

🎧 📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross continue to do an amazing job of bringing these characters and their story to life. They have a complete understanding of the characters they are portraying, give each a voice that fits the character’s persona to a tee and sound believable in every role they play. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture all the character’s emotions and project them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to, their narration enhances the story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Friendship

Best friends, an arranged marriage and the switch to avoiding the marriage. Lots of lies and tears are in the making, but at the end all is well.

Intense, Emotional, Twisted & Steamy

This was an amazing book.. The gripping storyline is jam-packed with drama, twists, tension, steam and raw emotions. The main characters were great together and their chemistry practically scorched the pages! I simply adored watching as those unexpected feelings took root.. Overall, the story felt quite intense, and it held me firmly in its grasp, as I anxiously awaited what would happen next. An awesome romance that left me very eager to enjoy more of this enticing series. The dual narration was greatly appreciated and very well done. The performances given were excellent and made it very easy for me to become fully immersed in this book.

Better second time around.

When I first listened to this book I didn’t give it a rave review, but now that I’m listening to it again, I think better of Orlando than at first. He’s just out of prison and is being tricked by his “arranged “ fiancé, then wife. These Rossi men love food, family and sex. And they are going to enjoy it all no matter what. It’s kind of funny to listen to “Elise” squirm because she’s scared of being found out. I enjoyed it this time around. Maybe I just needed a break from the Doms in my books when I first bought the book.
