Lola is being hunted by her past, stalked with every step she takes. Sheltered with the pack of her dreams, at first, it seems like the hardest challenge isn’t even staying safe from Indy. Tensions at work are at a tipping point and after taking the role of management’s spy, Lola’s in the crossfire if anything goes wrong.

As romances between Lola and the pack members are developing left and right, the woman who swore she wanted nothing to do with alpha is turning to them like a bloom to the sun, if only it weren’t just one monstrous alpha that twisted her own thoughts. Lola is quickly realizing that her worst enemy is herself, and it’s like walking the tightrope to find a balance with the pack that gives her strength rather than sends her toppling to the ground.

But, Indy won’t be ignored. One way or another, he’s determined to get his hands on her again. Lola needs more than a pack to shield her. She needs to be ready to fight.

Listening to one of my favorite omegaverse books was such a great pleasure.

I was pleased with how the narrators brought each of the characters to life - particularly with the varying accents for Caleb and Matthieu.

Fall in love with Lola

One of my top 10 all time reads. Excellent narration, good pacing. This story is perfect, very spicy, and also heart warming. Very realistic emotions.

Hands down the best

I wish I could read it again for the first time! It was so well written. Lola is a great character and I love her journey throughout the books.

Hands down these books are one of my top Omegaverse now and I know I’ll be listening to them over and over again.

This was a great ending to a fun duology. The story line was intriguing, the characters were still fun to be around and there was just the right amount of smut.

The only thing that I didn't like was that, for all the talk about Beta's needing to be seen and heard and their own individuals without comparison to alphas and omegas, Lola did a fine job of ignoring Leo for the majority of the book. That part annoyed me some.

The ending was so much fun though!

Another fun listen!

Lola's story speaks to me on a deep level, but also, this whole series is so gosh darn sexy! #iswoon

I adore Lola and her pack!

What a fantastic ending to this duet. I was very very happy with it. In fact, I loved it. There was excellent development between Lola and her men. I loved how she had a special connection with each of them. And I loved how she grew and developed and came into her own in this book. It made the ending even more satisfying especially as the big plot point that had been hanging over both books was finally resolved. I was really happy to see her get her moment. And was extremely happy with how everything ended overall. This duet as well as the previous book in the sweetverse before this one featuring Lola‘s best friend Baby have me really interested in checking out more books by this author. And the narration was beyond excellent. I say that with the caveat that while the female narrator did an amazing job with most of the voices, I did find that with her having so many to play I didn’t necessarily love each guy’s tone. But I honestly just felt that that was par for the course when you have so many different characters that need to be narrated. However, as a whole I felt like both narrators did an excellent job with their performance on the story and I wouldn’t hesitate to check out either one of them more in future.

Great book! The only issue I had was the volume kept going up and down at certain points.

A definite listen!!

This book, surprisingly, took me much longer to finish than expected. I flew through Part One in just a couple of sittings (during finals week!!!), but Part Two very nearly put me into a reading slump. Part of this speaks to the importance of content warnings because this book did not have any and desperately needed to (more on that later). I read the first 50% over many many days and was struggling with reading more than a chapter at a time because of both attention issues and because one specific scene had spiked my anxiety so severely. Tonight, I decided I was going to finish this book, so I downloaded the audiobook and ended up finishing it!

Me saying I had trouble finishing it is no reflection on the actual writing of the book. I adored the story and the characters so tremendously. If Kathryn Moon wrote five more books on these characters, I would be tremendously happy. It is more a reflection on my mental state while I was reading than anything because as much as Lola and the Millionaires is filled with hard topics, there is also so much joy to be found within these pages.

TW! I feel like it would be a disservice to bemoan the lack of content warnings and then not discuss what was included in this book that was so distressing to me. Lola is a character who has trauma and has escaped a severely mentally and physically abusive relationship. She then deals with revenge porn and stalking. The scene that was particularly distressing was a scene in which she watched a video where she was unknowingly filmed by her abuser during intercourse. The emotions that she goes through are raw and I do not have words to express how it made me feel. Because of Kathryn Moon's exquisite writing, this scene gave me severe anxiety and I had to put the book down for a little bit. While in the end, I did love the book, I wish I had known about these topics beforehand so I could have prepared myself.

Now on a much brighter note, this is now one of my favorite Omegaverse books of all time. Each character is fully developed and there were times when Kathryn's descriptions were so vivid that I felt like I was in the room. I enjoyed (almost) every second of this book and I could see it becoming a comfort reread.
