Lola is being hunted by her past, stalked with every step she takes. Sheltered with the pack of her dreams, at first, it seems like the hardest challenge isn’t even staying safe from Indy. Tensions at work are at a tipping point and after taking the role of management’s spy, Lola’s in the crossfire if anything goes wrong.
As romances between Lola and the pack members are developing left and right, the woman who swore she wanted nothing to do with alpha is turning to them like a bloom to the sun, if only it weren’t just one monstrous alpha that twisted her own thoughts. Lola is quickly realizing that her worst enemy is herself, and it’s like walking the tightrope to find a balance with the pack that gives her strength rather than sends her toppling to the ground.
But, Indy won’t be ignored. One way or another, he’s determined to get his hands on her again. Lola needs more than a pack to shield her. She needs to be ready to fight.

I was pleased with how the narrators brought each of the characters to life - particularly with the varying accents for Caleb and Matthieu.

The only thing that I didn't like was that, for all the talk about Beta's needing to be seen and heard and their own individuals without comparison to alphas and omegas, Lola did a fine job of ignoring Leo for the majority of the book. That part annoyed me some.
The ending was so much fun though!
Another fun listen!

Me saying I had trouble finishing it is no reflection on the actual writing of the book. I adored the story and the characters so tremendously. If Kathryn Moon wrote five more books on these characters, I would be tremendously happy. It is more a reflection on my mental state while I was reading than anything because as much as Lola and the Millionaires is filled with hard topics, there is also so much joy to be found within these pages.
TW! I feel like it would be a disservice to bemoan the lack of content warnings and then not discuss what was included in this book that was so distressing to me. Lola is a character who has trauma and has escaped a severely mentally and physically abusive relationship. She then deals with revenge porn and stalking. The scene that was particularly distressing was a scene in which she watched a video where she was unknowingly filmed by her abuser during intercourse. The emotions that she goes through are raw and I do not have words to express how it made me feel. Because of Kathryn Moon's exquisite writing, this scene gave me severe anxiety and I had to put the book down for a little bit. While in the end, I did love the book, I wish I had known about these topics beforehand so I could have prepared myself.
Now on a much brighter note, this is now one of my favorite Omegaverse books of all time. Each character is fully developed and there were times when Kathryn's descriptions were so vivid that I felt like I was in the room. I enjoyed (almost) every second of this book and I could see it becoming a comfort reread.
