2022 Audiobook Review:

I loved this audiobook from the Sweetverse! Lola is still my favorite but Eve definitely grew on me (was tough to connect with her in the beginning though) and her dynamic was really intriguing with this pack. I enjoyed Eve's unpredictability (yet frustrated with her decisions in the first 1/3 of the book haha) and loved the guys in the pack and not getting them right when we first meet them in terms of what they would be to Eve. I love Rory's twist, I really loved how she opened up to Jamie, and was so happy with Garrett's verse and how he always looked to Eve to make sure she was good but also had a backbone when it came to her. I loved how the main focus was Adam but Eve ended up bonding the pack and holding them together. The ending was super cute too with her influence and how they all grow up/became a tight-knit pack, but won't ruin it :)

In terms of the narration I thought the 3 did a great job. I love Troy's voice, so happy to hear him. It did make my head spin a bit because he voiced Rory and he did a great job for another author (Steel Demons MC) with a character with the same name hahaha. and the authors are besties so it made me have to do a couple rewinds because my brain was getting confused haha. First thing listening to the other male and thought he did a good job with the less gruff voices. And the woman narrator did a fab job, she reminded me of another narrator but in a good way. I thought they did a great job with the emotions, the purrs, the tension and posturing between the alphas, the bond descriptions, etc. I think one thing that irked me a little was Jamie sometimes had an accent but other times he didnt. I loved the accent done, but it wasn't consistent. Overall will be listening to them all again in the future, if you loved the other audiobooks in this series, get this one too! You won't be disappointed.

At some point I am going to have a full bookshelf just of Kathryn Moon stories, because she is now and forever will be a on-click author for me. I can't express how much I love this Sweetverse, how it has helped me during this pandemic with easily escaping into this amazing world. If you read my other reviews in this world, I usually get so sucked in I try and read during my work day as little rewards for myself, to whittle down my to-do list haha. Kathryn does an amazing job again and I cannot wait for more in this world from her and also Lana.

Now I will preface this that Lola still takes the top spot in my eyes, her story is one of my top 5 of all time and Kathryn does a great job trying to catch that here. I think there was a lot more angst in this book than her others and I thought it was great and sometimes frustrating because of the STRONG personality of Eve and the way things developed. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, but she was a tough FMC to instantly fall in love with (which made sense with her story). Sometimes you are like ooooh she is a BA and sometimes you just want to shake her and give her a little wake-up call. It shows Kathryn can provide us so many different kinds of FMC. Lola had trauma to get over and was very vulnerable. Baby was reluctant with her pack and their dynamics because she wasn't expecting to be an omega. And Eve has had to be tough as an alpha and what she does as a profession haha. I think she was the most complicated, like an onion with many layers haha.

Overall, easily a 4.5/5. I am not going to ruin anything in this story because I loved going in blind. I refused to read any reviews, teasers, etc. ahead of time because I wanted to have genuine reactions (you only get to read a story once once and I didnt want it skewed). Let's just say Kathryn does a fabulous job again with making us fall for more than one of the love interests, so much so it's always impossible to pick a favorite. I loved the connections with the Sweetverse other characters and the crumbs left for additional stories.

I will be getting this in paperback and will be purchasing it on audio as well (I can't wait for Baby and Lola's audiobooks too). You will not be disappointed by this standalone story in the connected world, be ready for a lot of action and relationship development ❤️❤️❤️

Lola is still my #1 but enjoyed the twists!

I liked reading about a female alpha! Eve is badass but has a good character arc. I liked seeing Eve’s story and even getting to see Lola and her group again briefly

One of my new favorite Omegaverse books. Female alpha, male beta, all male pack. Moon writes some of the most beautiful, steamy, heartwarming scenes in the Omegaverse. I didn’t think I would like any of her books more than Baby or Lola, but this one is even better. I’m hooked on Moon!

This has been a reread for me, but I just got into the audiobooks for this series. Baby and Lola narrators were great. The narrator for Eve and Jamie/Rory here were great. I cringe every time with the Adam/Garrett narrator. He really left a lot to be desired, and I skip through their chapters a lot now. But overall still a great listen.

Great story minus the one glaring plot hole. Penelope and Troy are great narrators. I wasn’t too crazy about Julio but it didn’t kill the story like some narrators do.

This is the fourth book in Sweet Omegaverse series/ universe. Eve is the female Alpha assassin that made an appearance in Lola and the Millionaires. Eve and Adam fall into the most misfit pack of Alphas. By the end they couldn’t all be more perfect for each other. Penelope Ann Rose, Julio Maxwell, and Troy Duran did a fantastic job narrating this book. I just loved this Sweet Omegaverse Kathryn Moon created.

this is my favorite of the series (tho I did love Lola) this one is kickass. Eve and Adam take on a corporation trafficking omegas and stumbled themselves into a pack. Regardless of their distaste of the idea of pack life. This book kept me engaged and surprised by the twists and turns. Now the steam factor. Holy cow 🥵 that woman can dominate! You learn how she became the kickass alpha she is, and the pack help heal her wounds (physical and emotional) as well as heal each other. Now I hope the next book is about Faith or better yet, Eves’ cheeky informant/bff

This book is going into my favorite list. A story you can listen to more then a few times. I’d give it more stars if I could. Give it all my stars if they write more books like this.

I’ve read/listened to many books before and come across many that they claim the female lead is a strong woman who is..well the alpha. They nearly never come out that way. A man comes in to save the day or the woman just makes awful choices and turns into a stubborn dipshit.
Not this book. Eve is the alpha of all and she is damn sexy doing it. Omega is also a little different then others I’ve read and his actions are surprising. The male alphas show up a little later in the story and I love them to. They don’t over power the others but follow there leads. They are alphas but man they are unique.

Looking for a story that will have you on the edge of your seat? This is it. A book that has so much steam that will make you blush but does not over take the story? This is it. So much action and suspense that you are biting your nails? You found it. Also a romance that has you day dreaming? Well this is the dang book.

I just stumbled upon this author and I am happy I did. I’ve only listened to this series so far and wish they had the rest. She has a real art for writing character growth. I notice that it can be hard for some authors or the transition is not as smooth. She’s got it down. Also has a creative mind and can bring things to the table that other may not. Twist a retold story and make it unique.

The narrators did a real awesome job. I can not say anything bad about the work. I loved they way Eves voice grew along with her character growth over time and you can feel the emotions in the words. My favorite one is Troy and that’s cause man he has a sexy voice. I’ve said this before in another review. I think I may look up books he reads cause so far all the ones I heard have been great. But they all did a really great job.

Thank you to the author and narrators for doing such a wonderful job. I look forward to listening to more and hope this bad ass job continues in other books.

This book was so good! I love how strong and independent Eve is. But then also getting to see her walls come down with Adam and forming a pack. I loved each and every one of the guys! This audiobook kept my interest the entire time! I loved the plot and the narrators did a wonderful job!
