I loved Constantine! Thomas Locklear made his so likeable i almost forgot he was a mob boss! Ri Paige is on top if her game bringing forth a sexy sassy Jade who is unafraid and defiant. Really enjoyed the plot twists and turns on this one. Cant wait for the next book!

This author is new to me and I most say I enjoyed how well and balanced Piper Stone developed the storyline, and characters… along with the very steamy and hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 scenes between the main characters. If you like possessive alpha mafia males that know how to take care of their women in and outside of the bedroom… this novel is for you, it will not disappoint. There is no cheating and it comes with a happy ending. The male narrator has a deep sexy voice to die for and the female narrator has a pleasant voice. It’s been a while since I’ve listened to a novel that has kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next and with sexu@l scenes that were so hot I practically needed a cold shower… lol. One of the things I loved was that the female character was not wimpy, but strong and challenged him every chance she got. The only thing that would have made this novel better is if it would have been done in Duet-Narration… where each performer reads the dialogue and action of their character across all chapters and sections like a conversation… female speaks for only female and male only speaks for the male. I’ll definitely be listening to more novels from this author!

Constantine seems to be this big bossy mafia dude and when he catches up to Jade years later. I swear she makes him turn to mush for her lol. When she finds out things about her family, his family that was hidden in the past he is there to catch her and help make it all make sense. This book has a lot of spicy scenes and some BDSM play. Thomas Locklear nailed another book with all his growls and Dom like presence. Ri Paige was a new to me narrator u til this series and she does a good job with the emotions of the women.

she was defiant, determined to disobey. She had a secret that Constantine wanted to k ow.
Secrets, betrayal,, murder, crooked cops, danger and hot steamy romance, is what Piper Stone does best.
What makes this an enjoyable listen is the narration by Ri Paige and Thomas Locklear. Both bring the emotions and intensity necessary for this mafia story.

I have just recently started reading mafia romance. So far I either love the story or hate it. I absolutely loved this story. Piper Stone did an amazing job, I did not expect certain things to play out the way they did! I love the strong female character. You don’t always get that and having any ties to the mafia you need to be strong.

I loved the chemistry between the main characters and the narrators Thomas Locklear and Ri Page did an amazing job!

Constatine...that's all. That man, he was much darker than Gabriel, but he drew men in even more than Gabriel. I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I like that the women in these books aren't weak, and they can stand up to these brutal men and change them. I'm definitely enjoying this series. Thomas Locklear and Ri Paige have done a great job bringing this series to life.

This was a very delicious dark tantalizing story with domination, submission and enough heat to make my panties melt and the sexy bad guy getting her to truly Submit with her heart.

Thomas and Ri did such a fantastic job with this story I enjoyed every delicious minute.

Little did he know, the game wasn’t at all what it seemed, and the stakes were higher than he’d ever imagined! “King of Cruelty”, is a scorching hot, fast moving, romantic suspense mystery thriller with more meaty depth that the butcher’s counter at Costco! The plot, darkly complex yet throughly and enthrallingly explained, flows smoothly, beautifully navigating more twists than Chubby Checker on steroids! I was perched on the edge, breath held, more than a few times, waiting tensely for relief and resolution! However, it needs to be said, that this story was so beautifully, so perfectly written, that there was no place I would rather have been! The amount of time I was left on that ledge before answers came was PERFECT! Long enough that I felt it, but not so long that it ruined the flow, or the experience! The characters, holy heck, THESE characters, they just get better with each story! I LOVE the snarky, sassy, strong, take charge Jade! No shrinking violet here! Constantine is just oozing with swoon worthy, alpha hero goodness, and he’s so badly in need of redemption! No spoilers! I’ll not be the one to ruin anything for future listeners, just know that with this story, the character development is off the charts fabulous, and ALL the characters grow and change appropriately WITH the story, resulting in a reveal that is not only fantastic, but brilliant and beautifully SATISFYING! The heat level is perfection! Hot, naughty, forbidden - I need a cold shower or THREE, perfectly complimenting both the lead characters personalities, AND this story! The last piece of a beautifully perfect puzzle was the narration. Every chapter, dynamic and delicious! A seamless performance of emotionally appropriate beautiful perfection, that kept this listener firmly in the moment, throughly engaged from the first words to the last, where THIS listener sat with tears streaming down her face, trying to recover from this thrilling, beautifully emotional, five star story!

Piper has a brilliant mind! OMG, I can’t put into words how much I loved this sexy and action packed story!
Thomas and Ri put the icing on the cake with their narration! They dragged me along with their voices and I was sure I was feeling everything that went on! I especially love to hear Thomas’s low growling. He makes every woman feel like she’s special!
