This misunderstandings in this book are absolutely hilarious. There's a bit of a sad moment from the past but it's not drawn out or unbelievable(unfortunately quite common). Adorable couple with amazing friends!!!

It was fun, silly and cute with the mate trope. I'm not expecting it to be an epic but it did feel like something major was missing. I've read short cute monster romances before, but at the end of this I felt very caught off guard that it was the ending. I feel like the story needed at least two or three more chapters.

If you're thinking about it, just dive in! Its worth it! Complex characters and plot for such a short book! Above average banter, especially for "nerdy" MCs. Lots of feels and more giggles. Interesting spice!

I love this book series, it's so cute and well written. my favorite so far is checked out by the chupacabra and this one is a close second.

Storyline is pretty basic in the monster love story.
Monster meets woman. Woman struggles to grasp the idea of liking the monster. Monster knows she’s her mate. This society is pretty welcoming to human and monster relationships.

The romance part was slow and felt to drag on. For such a short story. I wish it would have sped up. The couple was sweet. Men who know how to treat woman. Smexy parts was interesting in some sence. Unique. But in the relationship is more of a tease.
The characters were the best part. The way the author Incorporated parts of their past into the story happening. This kind of writing makes the readers feel more connected to the story and the characters in them.

So all together it was a good. Just needed a little more for my taste. Only issue with this book was the price of it. 20 bucks for a 5 hour book. I was thinking it was going to be amazing ever for the cost. Again not bad. Just not my favorite.

Narration was really good. You could imagine each character and hear their personalities.

Would I recommend this book?
Yes for some. If you love monster books with odd sexy parts. Then this may be for you. Wanna a fast love story where you know there’s a happy ending.
Men who are loving and caring to woman. Great characters growth.
