A wonderful tale of adventure, spice, and love.

I loved every part of this book. It was lighthearted mingled with adventure and spice. The narrator was excellent, I felt like I was apart of the adventure from start to finish.

so that happened

characters were great. plot was great. believable bond(sorta...its still instalove, doesn't mean it's not real) even the world building is okay. i dont need to be given precise details on everything because i have a working imagination.

and that's exactly the problem.

i couldn't take take their ..er... "proximity" seriously because the size difference is like.... squirrel meets bear.

just... no way. it's rare that a book makes me laugh. this one did. for the wrong reasons.

i have two hours left and morbid curiosity is the only reason I'm not quitting.

I love these two so much

Listening to them is like falling in love all over again with Patrek and Maja.

humbling

I like despite Mia and Patrick's physical and cultural differences love was truly enough for these two. They worked with each based what they could do rather then focus on what they could not.

A creative favorite

This is an odd size couple for sure, but it's a great representation of two people being fully accepting of each other's bodies and understanding that sensual intimacy can be more than insert A into B. There are a lot of people out there whether due to medical challenges or age who understand that the desire for intimacy must sometimes be accompanied by creativity. This is a fast burn but true romance. The characters are so tender and infatuated with each other. In the age of dark romance popularity, it's great to listen to a love story where the characters are actually good to and for each other (and kind to animals).

Narrator is excellent. Very lovely voice for both the male and female characters without being over the top.
