I will forever believe that Mason Lloyd and Hollie Jackson are the PERFECT narrator pair; they make the story and characters come alive and everything feel so cozy.

I loved Rin as the MMC and Kolli was an entertaining MFC as well. I can’t wait for the rest of this series to come out on Audible!

I wanted to do some quick listens with monsters and saw this series earlier in the year and was able to grab a lot of these standalones in the big summer audible sale so I am now binge listening to them now. Book 1 was a re-listen for me and I would give the story 3.5 stars but the narration was 3.5-4 stars so I rounded up to 4.

I like the female narrator when she does the female parts but not as much when she does the male voices, this would have been better as a duet narration because I did enjoy the male narrator when he had his chapter POVs. I thought the feelings were spot on but her voice for his performance was more generic and OTT sometimes so it took me out of the story in some scenes. I felt the conflict, the possessiveness, the vulnerability between these two. I thought it was hilarious when he bought her the clothing line or when he confronted her horrible boss. I thought the steam and chemistry was done well.

In regards to the storyline, I did enjoy this one. I liked having a different creature as the MMC, I hadn't read or listened to books with that particular demon included, so that was a nice touch. I like the concept of MD and what they can do, some things more intensive and two people coming together, and sometimes like this adorable inexperienced demon, something that is very satisfying for the FMC haha. I did wish we got the sister in the next book but I think hers is #4 or #5 (as I am halfway through book 3 already haha. I liked that this story had a curvy woman (as one myself I love the representation) and the callout about clothing stores not having plus size/ones that are nice for our figure was so great. I think the story was decent, but it wasn't a lot to sink my teeth into but I did enjoy it.

Summary bit
Woman starts her story out as a broke artist winding how to pay bills. Signing up for a monster prostitution website. She’s going to sell herself for her dream.
Her first client is a rich demon who has a connection with her. She does not know what he is and he fears her reaction. Also fears hurting her.

My review
Well done smut. Love it. The storyline is well done and works around all the sexy bits. So it does not feel like a cheapo porn. You are waiting to hear the outcomes of all the hurdles. The characters are well done also.

Narration review
I’ve listened to them believe and not bad. You get used to all the buggy bits. Not perfect but they are good. I like most voices they do. Minus one.

Would I recommend?
Highly would. If this is your type of book then I suggest you listen to.
