    • THE PERFECT BLEND OF FUN, STEAM, STORY AND ROMANCE
    • “The synopsis of the story isn't new.. rich sexy Billionaire needs a convenient 'fake fiancé' for whatever reason - then suddenly or slowly he falls for the love of his life. But this easy-going entertaining story is so much more than just lighthearted fluff.. it's an addictive, compelling, contemporary and funny journey as these two polar opposites meet, negotiate negotiate negotiate… and, despite all their differences, melt, merge and fall in love… This story has nice easy-flowing humorous banter as these two opposites barter, push/pull and negotiate their way into each other's hearts… Worth a credit? It's a boatload of fun, a simmering slow-burn, a delightful rom/com, a sweet chick lit romance, a lol opposites attract and react plot, a well written well narrated story.. and YES, IMO, it definitely is a creditworthy book.” –CAROLYN, Listener Since 2010

    • Julie James and Karen White hit another homer!
    • “This funny book about two long-time associate attorneys scratching their way into a partnership position is another Julie James and Karen White slam-dunk. So much fun to listen to, I didn't want it to end. Posturing, banter and smoldering attraction come together - finally! These two are like the dog magnets that repel each other. What is supposed to be a hands-off professional relationship finally falls into bed.
That's all I will say, except Karen White is so much fun to listen to! I bought this because she was narrator and because I had guiltily bought a Julie James book in the past and loved it! I will buy more, definitely.
Thanks, Julie and Karen - you are a dynamic duo!” – Eddie Lynn, Listener Since 2009

    • Brilliant
    • “OMG...I loved everything about this book! The story line is unique and refreshing as Richard and Lainie are forced to pretend to be a couple as a PR move, but end up seeing each other in a whole new light. And as the layers of their personalities are peeled back, the sparks begin to fly! However, the best part about this book is the characters are just so genuine and believable, and not just the hero and heroine. The writing is so smart and sexy, you feel completely immersed in each scene. The author was able to capture true, laugh-out-loud humor in the most serious of situations. I found myself smiling through much of this book. And although the sex scenes were not graphic, they were certainly not lacking in steam. The author had a way of making you feel every bit of the intensity and intimacy of the love scenes to the point that graphic details were not only unnecessary, but not desired. Billie Fulford-Brown was perfect in every way. This was hands down one of the best romance books I have listened to in a while. My only complaint is that I wish there was more from this author. Brava Lucy Parker!” – Beckie, Listener Since 2011

    • Loved this book! :)
    • “I LOVED this book! I Cannot tell you how many times I LOL :). I LOL with tears when telling my husband about certain scenes. I was laughing so hard I couldn't get the words out. It has romance, one good sex scene, the mystery/suspense is light. The story focuses more on the relationship of the H/H and the secondary characters. This is my first time listening to an Elle Casey book and I loved it. Emily Foster did a great narration/performance. I'm going to look for more books by Emily and Elle. When I purchased this book I had just finished listening to two dark suspense thrillers and was going to go to a good 'ole funny standby but then I decided to give The Bourbon Street Boys a listen. I'm glad I did. It was great. I'm looking forward to Book 2.” –Vicki, Listener Since 2016
