    • Not just about love, but so much more!
    • “Warning: NSFW (not until chapter 10). This book wasn't just about love, it was about growing up, settling, friendship, and the good parts of life and the bad. Each character was completely fleshed out and all had different backstories. The narrators were amazing! Lidia had a great way of acting out Stephanie's moods and talking in a Scottish accent was no small feat! Shaun was amazing! His voice was so sexy, gave me shivers when Lindin said 'out' or 'about.' It started off slow and mysterious, not knowing our characters at first, but it got a lot better once they got to 29-30. Recommended for hopeless romantics and women who are attracted to accents.” – Erin H., Listener Since 2011

    • What’s your favorite word?
    • “Populated by the loveable characters and sprinkled with the quirk and wit that fans have come to expect from Christina Lauren, Love and Other Words draws an intimate picture of both Macy and Elliot as we see them grow from teens to adults. Erin Mallon’s narration had me feeling both the highs and the lows twice over as Elliot and Macy become neighbors, then friends, and then something more in their teen years. Their relationship seems to be of storybook perfection, but something comes between them to separate them for eleven years. Told in alternating timelines between past and present, I found myself unable to stop listening with the growing tension and the need to know: What could have possibly separated them all those years ago? We just have to wait see!” – Melissa, Audible Romance Editor

    • Absolutely wonderful!!!!
    • “I loved this book!!! It was probably my favorite listen as well. The narrators captured the spirit of Noah and Jude perfectly. There were (hour to almost two hour long) chapters that I listened to and then started them over again just because it was so beautifully written and told! I didn't even realize this story was considered YA until I finished. Like another reviewer said, I think it was categorized as YA because it is ABOUT young adults. It is beautiful, romantic story of love and loss that has easily become one of my favorite books.

I had this in my wishlist for so long and wish I had bought it sooner. If you are trying to decide on a book, PICK THIS ONE!! You will not regret it!!” – Katie, Listener Since 2014

    • “Listening to a good book adds a layer of depth and detail that one often misses when reading...this book is no exception. It's the lovely and powerful story of a young half-Navajo boy (who sure does grow up nicely) and his school bus seatmate, a 13 year old (going on 21) girl child who becomes his mentor between his Native American world and her Utah world. Their story evolves over several years as they both become the world to each other, then grow apart, experience tragedies and triumphs and find a place for themselves… I loved this book and will listen to it more than once. Tavia Gilbert does such a nice job with all the characters but is most impressive in her pronunciation of Navajo phrases.” – The Elf in the Kitchen, Listener Since 2012

    • “This is the best of Ms. Dessen's work: Macy is believable, relate-able and someone I would want to be friends with, her story is worth hearing. Her mom and sister also ring true and Wes is someone to dream about. The timeline is realistic; the story classic and well told. Ms. Nielsen's reading has perfect pitch for the subject and dialogue.

This story is also good for family trips, since the cursing is minimal and the content, while emotionally interesting, is mild. Better though for families with daughters.

I loved this book and I loved the audio version.” – Lisa, Listener Since 2005
