And that's just a fraction of the stars in this film. Plus, this momentous blockbuster is going to be the first movie filmed entirely with Imax cameras—talk about epic.

Bullock, Kidman, Stockard Channing, and Dianne Wiest are all set to return, with new additions to the cast including Maisie Williams, Lee Pace, Xolo Maridueña, and Joey King.

The newest Narnia film hits theaters in November 2026.
This rendition of C.S. Lewis’s classic Chronicles of Narnia has been in the works since 2018, and it seems like Greta Gerwig's vision is finally coming to our screens. There are at least two films planned thus far, and while there's no official confirmation, speculation blooms that Gerwig is starting at the beginning with The Magician's Nephew. Emma Mackey (Sex Education; Barbie) is cast as the White Witch and Daniel Craig as Uncle Ketterley. Also, while not yet confirmed, there are rumors that Meryl Streep will voice Aslan. (Which, yes please.)
Also planned for 2026
No, the adaptation of a book that originated as a Reylo fanfic will not star Adam Driver nor Daisy Ridley. But the casting looks pretty dang perfect. Lili Reinhert (Riverdale) will star as PhD student Olive, and the grumpy, aloof professor who agrees to her fake-dating scheme will be played by Tom Bateman (Murder on the Orient Express).
Pulitzer Prize–winning author Jhumpa Lahiri's acclaimed book of short stories is being adapted for the screen. Now, we're getting an adaptation directed by Taika Watiti (Jojo Rabbit, Hunt for the Wilderpeople), and starring Jenna Ortega and Amy Adams in leading roles.
As much as we ardently love and admire the 2005 rendition, there’s never a bad time for a fresh take on Jane Austen’s classic. This one features Emma Corrin (Nosferatu; Lady Chatterley's Lover) as Elizabeth Bennet and Jack Lowden (Dunkirk) as Mr. Darcy—not to mention Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennet!
The second season of 3 Body Problem, created by Alexander Woo and Game of Thrones duo David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, and based on the sci-fi classic from Chinese author Cixin Liu, is returning for its second season in 2026. This volume will continue the epic saga, which is already renewed for its third (and final) season.
It doesn’t get much more disturbing that an age-accurate adaptation of Golding's classic story about the darkness of human nature, as depicted by a group of boys stranded on an island. Screenwriter Jack Thorne (Adolescence, Wonder, The Aeronauts) went for it on this one, and the result is a depiction that's dark, gnarly, and atmospheric. Catch up on the source material before you dive in.
