I love Margo’s brain and Elle’s voice 👏🏻💕

One of my favorite things about this story is how deeply the character analyzes their life. Rufi plays with POV in such fun ways, really breaking the fourth wall and bringing us in. Such an engaging listen with Elle Fanning deserving whatever awards are award-able for audio book performance.

My heart swells for this story and its characters. Fun and thoughtful. Thank you for a heartfelt and judgement free challenge of a listen. I will think of it often when I think of SW or young mothers. We needed Margo 💞

Reminded me of Elinor Olyphant- funny, original, refreshingly sane and empathetic protagonist( so tired of these doormat “ heroines” , sp catatonic with self-hatred and guilt for merely existing they can’t function). ❤️❤️👍👻

Best book of 2024

This is the best thing I’ve read this year. It was heartfelt, funny and deep. The characters were fantastic. Margo’s a hero

Great read

Great writing. Great character development. Great story. Great performance. Explores themes of consent, sex work, class, addiction, and social mores stacked mostly against women. All presented with an uplifting tone. You will cheer for Margo. I read a lot. This is a very good book.

One of the best books I’ve ever read

So funny heartfelt intense and well written! So quick and easy a read. Very enjoyable. Very relatable. Great feminist read. Great last words.
