T.A. Crosbarn born in Santa Clara Ca. in 1965 and moved around the mid-west and the south. Crosbarn is an award winning salesman who has also published art and music and is now entered into the book publishing business. One thing to keep in mind I have a bunch of songs that I wrote and was offered a record contract out of one of the big three...Nashville. These songs are rock genre, inspired by classic rock. I know how to tell stories and one is always playing out in my imagination, but I never wrote that much. I was preoccupied at music and art. I have a degree in art and used to do portraits and such for people, as well as production art, but I got tired of it. So now I just write. I feel that the talent to create is not new to me but putting together books is new to me. So I'll keep going as long as I can and maybe a good song can turn into a great story and a great story into a great movie! I love to let the material just flow out of me in the mornings. Even before a busy day that I may be headed into, I will sit and write while sipping a coffee of course, for a couple hours, and if I didn’t plan what I need to write down, I just let something flow anyway. I figure I can always change it later during the editing and proofreading process. I believe you should love what you do! If you don’t then you are just in bondage and doing because you have to. This will cause mixed results, and sometimes it causes fruitless content or output. No one should work in bondage; however I am aware that much of the world does. I pray for them. It is my hope that I can continue to write stories that can captivate and get people’s attention. That would make me very happy. Just like when I did a lot of art and that got people’s attention, they expressed their selves and that made me happy. Of course that same goes with my music. I don’t really tell my friends and family about my books for some reason. I guess I would like to reach out to the world and hope to win in the support of those who are getting to know me for the first time. I hope to win you as a fan and continue to produce stories that would get your attention and even make you want to comment or talk to me through my sites. That would make it all worth it, that and of course doing it all for a living! "You know, I was listening to a very successful author speak when he told about what exactly he does. He said that he just sits and writes and puts out these little short series episodes of around twelve thousand words or so. He never looks or asks for reviews. He writes in genre's that show demand and has no real previous writing experience. At first there were hardly any sales but one day after writing a booklet a week for around three months, several sales started to come in on one of these books. Not long after that, the other books started to sell like crazy, and to this day around one year later he is about to break 1 million sales. Now this guy never ever had any book listed free! What? He doesn't care about any review! What? And he doesn't really think of himself hanging around in circles, forums, groups or anywhere else in order to be a part of it or accepted. You know what? That guy became my hero! Not because he doesn't mess with social groups and such because I do that, but because he breaks moulds! He doesn't compete with the pro's. He doesn't get worked up from reviews causing him to feel bad or good, he doesn't spend money to learn the craft or develop, he just writes whatever comes to his head and self publishes it. He does get the great cover and pay for that but the rest he simply does not care about. And now he is probably over a million sales in a year. I look at this and see that this can help me! though I will be into it in my unique way and will write with the talent that God gave me. But I too will not be so concerned about the whole thing and let it over consume me as I compete with the great authors of the world...My hat is off to the great ones. But it is also off to the independent one. Thanks to Companies that allow for publishing to the world, and if one does well, great! But if you don't do well try again and what ever you do, just keep putting up content and at least try to make great of it, but don't be pushed back by the pressure of peers, just write and publish!"
