NeNe Capri, Author/CEO The Journey: NeNe Capri is an Urban Fiction author or as it has been termed Street-Literature. She came on the scene in 2011 breaking boundaries with her first hot and controversial title, “The Pussy Trap”. NeNe signed this series with Wahida Clark Presents Publishing. She severed ties in 2014 starting her Publishing house Boss Lady Publishing and NeNe Capri Presents which was the birth of her personal brand which she has coined #Trappin. History: NeNe Capri spent the first 18 years of her life without her father who was serving a life sentence for murder, raised on the ill streets of North Jersey by a mother and grandmother in Wilson Place and Mechanic St. projects. Being heavily influenced by her surroundings she went head first into the streets. Everythign that she shuld have ran from she instead ran head first into. Her grandmother Sarah tried to keep her engaged in activities such as volunteering with the elderly, modeling, dance, art and acting also active in all church functions and events. However, when NeNe reached twelve years of age she put down all her child like desires and slipped into a pair or grown woman heels she was not prepared to fill. After returning from Job corps the summer of 1991 where she had fled in an attempt to try at a better life only to get home sick after eight months and return home to find her grandmother’s health had progressed towards early demetia. To deal with the pain NeNe would spend every hour of the day running the streets smoking and drinking to deal with the pain of the only woman who every loved her completely and whose world she rested at the center of, now, at times could not remember her face. Once her grandmother passed January of 1992, the only crutch she would have to get through the depression that followed would be alcohol. Being a 16 year old high school dropout with very little work experience she picked up on the neighborhood trades which only pushed her further into the streets and spun her totally out of control. It would be many brushes with death that would present a fork in the road and provide an opportunity for change. At 18, she met a mentor who quickly placed her under her wing relocated her to Georgia and put her on the road to success. NeNe started a few small businesses, one being “The Goddess In You” braiding shop in Trenton NJ and relocated it to Decatur Ga partnered with her landing Corporate America jobs at SunTrust Bank and Chase Melon Shareholders. In 2001 another life changing event would again put NeNe at a very beautiful yet critical stage of life. The birth of her Princess which would be the catalyst she needed to get to the next level. With the support of NeNe’s mom Birdie she went back to school got her G.E.D and then an A.A.S degree in Legal studies then on to attend Temple University to also add a B.A. degree in Pre-Law/Philosophy. Currently NeNe Capri is the CEO of “NeNe Capri Presents” Boss Lady Publishing, Writing Royalty and award winning Blogtalk radio show Real Raw Radio & Entertainment. NeNe holds two certifications in mentoring and is a Certified Bail Bonds Woman and Notary. She is the founder of the Purple Diamond Sisterhood along with her sister of the Soul Kisha Steel. NeNe is a member of The Literary Arts Society, Phi Alpha Delta and Parents of Murdered Children. NeNe is The Program Director of Project Blossom under Commissioner Bruce Holms mentoring teen girls also served as The Assistant Director of Prodigal Sons and Daughters Redirection Services Inc. Trenton Chapter, teaching and mentoring female and male inmates, preparing them for what awaits them on the other side of the wall. Also works with, deters and redirects our youth to become productive members of society. The driving force to all her accomplishments is her daughter who is the motivation for every step she takes and she quotes, “Out of all the degrees and accomplishments I have. No title is more important to me than Mom.” ~NeNe Capri The Work: NeNe is the author of “The Pussy Trap”, “The Pussy Trap 2: The Kiss of Death”, “The Pussy Trap 3: Death by Temptation”, “The Pussy Trap 4: The Shadow of Death” ,"The Pussy Trap 5: Family Ain't Family. Blood Ain't Blood", all under NeNe Capri Presents. “Trust No Bitch”, “Trust No Bitch 2: Deadly Silence” and “Trust No Bitch 3: Deadly Alliance” a collaboration with Author Ca$h. She also has a short story entitled “Shattered” in the anthology “Love is Blind” presented by Boo Jackson in which 100% of the proceeds are donated to a battered woman’s shelter to help with the fight against Domestic Violence. NeNe signed with “G Street Chronicles” in 2013 and released her latest novel, “Tainted: Lies. Fear. and Death”, “Tainted II: Love. Deception. and Murder” and “Dream Weaver” with Diamonds Pumps and Glocks coming early 2016 a collaboration with Authoress Blaque. NeNe Capri has also put on her Agent hat signing her first celebrity client porn star “Roxy Reynolds” to “G Street Chronicles” with her new novel Secrets of Porn Star.
