I have been writing since childhood. My main interest is in writing crime fiction and psychological thrillers, although my novel According to Olwen is the exception. I've had short stories published by conventional means, in magazines and a crime anthology and write for the Food and Drink Guide. I also work as a supporting artist for film and television. My novel Who is Sarah Lawson reached the quarter finals of the Amazon Breakthrough novel award 2013. It's the first of a series featuring the Private Investigator Richie Stevens and his PA Sandy Smith. To date there are five novels in this series. My psychological thrillers are plot driven and rely heavily on idiosyncratic characters to tell the stories.
