this was a surprise. I loved the narrators and it was a multi cast so I thought I would give it a listen. wow. this might be my favorite listen of the year. I can't wait for book two. such an amazing book. can't recommend it enough.

Superb narration/performance literally brings the story alive. Definitely fast paced action but that can be bad too. It was over before I could absorb the nuance of the story and character interaction. I read constantly and fast so I generally don’t like to spend a credit on a story less than 10 hrs long and I’ve not read from this author before and I’m glad a gave them a try because it is a good story. I’m glad that angst was put back into the romance with Atticus’ poor judgement there at the end because the build up of sexual tension was compromised a bit with how quickly the story moved. However, the steam was great

This book was awesome. Loved the action and romance. The sex scenesa are so enticing and toe curling. The voice actors are perfect and really make the book pop. Super excited for the next book.

Aurora is on the run from her abusive ex boyfriend, when she runs into (𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺— 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘳) Seven. Atticus then seizes the opportunity to bring her to their home as a “maid” but he wants to use her to seek revenge in a plan.

But as the days go on, she’s becoming close to Sev & Eli. And she even starts to crack Atticus’ hard exterior.

Sev is a psychotic golden retriever, and I’m obsessed with him. He’s so empowering when it comes to Aurora, and I’m in love with him.
Eli is just a golden retriever, he’s the sweetest. He is the calm to everyone’s storm, and your heart just pulls towards him.
Atticus is a tough one to crack, and rarely lets people in.
Aurora is badass. I love her, I love her strength.
And we can’t forget Ellie. The sweetest pup.

And the spice in here?! 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗬. In the fridge, in the plane, in a locked room. I was quaking during these scenes. I’m not sure who my favorite boy is right now. I love them all equally. And the ending…… HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT INSTALLMENT!?

I’m salivating for it, I’m not sure how I’m going to keep myself busy until this comes out.

Immediately running to buy my shelf trophy.

The audio for this book was phenomenal. Completed in duet narration with an 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗚 full cast. Each one brought these characters to like in such an amazing way. They all immersed me so deep into the story.
