Monotone At best is all I can say I think I have to pass on this couldn't get past chapter 7 either

I normally like this authors books , but this one was terrible..the story was bad ..I got to chapter 7 and couldn't listen anymore .. there was no real story and what there was of it was slow and never really got anywhere ...The characters were shallow I would guess would be a good word for it and not very interesting.I could have taken or left the narrator it really didn't matter since there wasn't any content to the book. .
