I enjoyed listening to Tyler Laux bring this emotional romance to life.

First story in and I am already hooked on the Creekside Valley series.
I love stories that rip my heart open and then lovingly piece it back together and this is exactly what JT Fader has done.
Great world building and a wonderful cast of characters that I am looking forward to getting to know better.

I loved how patient and caring Denver was of Rory, showing him that he is worthy of being loved.

The found family formed with Rory, Carter and Jessie was special on its own and I was so happy they had each other. I am hoping we get more insight into their friendship as we see each one get their HEA.

I loved this book when I read it last year (original ebook review below) and was so excited to listen to the audiobook. I only started listening to audiobooks recently narrated by Tyler Laux and I'm really loving his work. His voice was a perfect fit for Rory and Dean and it was really wonderful listening to him bring this beautiful hurt/comfort romance to life.

It felt like what love was supposed to feel like.
I buried my face against his chest and wept.'

I loved this book. Good world building and wonderful characters. I'm always sucked into a good hurt/comfort romance and this one didn't disappoint. My heart broke for what Rory's been through the trauma he still suffers from. I loved him and Denver. I found them connecting in dreams fascinating. Denver was a nice guy, patient, and caring. I loved the dynamic between them and the way their relationship developed. I also loved Carter and Jesse as well, and liked that they and Rory supported each other as they lived together. All three of them knew what it was like to struggle, and banded together. I liked the feeling of found family- with the three of them, with people in the town. This is the first story I've read by this author and I would read more. 5 stars

Rory now has a connection with Denver another Bear shifter. Denver is a strong alpha bear and Rory is an omega bear who has a bond together. Most likely fated mates. I am really happy that Denver has been able to free him from his past. I definitely recommend this book to everyone who enjoys mm fated mate stories even with all of the bad.

An enjoyable listen from start to finish, with a story that stayed interesting and easy to follow. It gave me hours of entertainment and never felt like a chore to pick back up. The narration was a big plus and made the story even more enjoyable. I’ll be looking for more from this author.
