The story is very addictive and captivating. The male narrators are great and the female narrator for the most part is ok but when your job is to narrate a book, you should not have issues actually speaking words. Anything with a TH seemed to be troublesome to the female narrator. I cannot believe how annoying it became because the word "breathe" or some facet of that word was used SO MANY times throughout the four books and the narrator kept pronouncing it "breave" and would pronounce other words with a TH with an "f" sound as birthday became birfday. Celtic was pronouned "seltic" and so many other mispronunciations. By the end of the fourth book I actually just wanted to see how the story ended but was so annoyed by the grammar that I vowed to never listen to another book where this woman was a narrator. I feel bad saying it because the tone of her voice is great.
The story itself was so good and a lot of really good twists.

What a series! I loved this romantic suspense! From start to finish, I was captivated with the romance, but the mystery and suspense truly captured my attention. This last book in the quartet has us wondering the future of Sin, Belle and Zander. Not only is she not choosing between them, but the friendship between Sin and Zander is exceptionally strained. The danger is not over either! We still are on the edge wondering who master minding the human trafficking ring as both reputations of Sin and Zander are destroyed. It's fast paced, suspenseful, passionate and steamy. The results are unexpected, and I loved trying to figure it all out! This series is a favorite!

Finishing out the narration, Lacy Laurel, Connor Crais and James Cassidy bring it all to a head. They are so good together, understanding their characters and using their nuances to bring out the fear, love and frustrations! It was fantastic listen!

This was the final book in the Sinful Surrender Quartet. This series is full of twists and turns. Belle finally gets both of her men. Sin and Xander have finally put a stop to all the threats against their lives. All three might finally get to enjoy life and relax. Lacy Laurel, Connor Crais, and James Cassidy all did an absolutely phenomenal job narrating this series.

This was the first series I've listened to by Katherine Hawthorne. The best part for the whole series was the suspense/mystery part of the storyline. That kept me invested, wondering where the author would be taking it. Excellent writing.

As for the relationship/romance in the series, I was all over the place. I wasn't invested, then I was excited to see the relationship grow, but then it didn't. I was so disappointed. But I loved this fourth book! This was what I was hoping for in book three. Belle, Xander, and Sin didn't have a perfect time of it, but they started growing in the relationship. So many more twists and turns, heartaches and triumphants. A satisfying HEA was experienced.

Once again, the three narrators are excellent performers! I love their voices. Their performances through this series were perfection!

Shameless by Katherine Hawthorne is a MFM Ménage Romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lacy Laurel, Connor Crais, and James Cassidy. This is the fourth and final book in the Sinful Surrender Quartet series.

The book comes with an author's note: "This book is intended for mature audiences due to explicit language and sexual content. Scandalous is a ménage romance that's all about the girl. There are NO M/M scenes."

This is the first series of Katherine's that I have read and it won't be my last. She did a great job wrapping up the series. I loved the relationship between Belle, Xander, and Sin. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book.

Lacy, Connor, and James did a great job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like MFM Ménage Romances, Erotic Romances, or Romantic Suspense.
