Not worth a credit

Am I the only one who can’t stand her voice? This is the second book of the author’s that I’ve listened to and I specifically made sure it wasn’t the last lady’s voice. This one is so annoying and “breathy” and fake. Can’t she just read instead of force a voice to read? Gah! I constantly focus on the awful voice instead of the story

Love Romantic Suspense? Then GIVE THIS A LISTEN!

I really loved this book. I LOVE Romantic Suspense! I've had a somewhat hard time finding 5-star books in this category, despite being an avid listener on here. This book is definitely 5 star worthy. It's honest, based in reality, descriptive, deep, emotion invoking, action packed & romantic in all the right ways. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time! I was hooked from the start & now I'm excited to listen to Chandlers story! Ugh, I love this book so much!

This book meets every expectation of a Romantic Suspense storyline. I loved every second & am itching to start the 2nd book.

Just do yourself a favor & give it a listen. It is SO worth it.

Excellent Series Start

This is my first Kennedy L. Mitchell book and it did not disappoint. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. It was clear to me why this audiobook was nominated for an Audie. I think this was Teddy Hamilton's best work to date. 100% would recommend this book. It's got fantastic suspense, a twist ending I was not expecting, and of course, top notch steamy romance scenes.

Well worth the credit!

It's not often a writer is able to balance plot with hot but Kennedy L. Mitchell does it beautifully. I can't wait for book 2! Narration was excellent and performed in a way that really brought these characters to life.

A gripping and wonderful listen!

this series is a bit more on the dark and gritty side than I usually go for, but it is so well written that I had a hard time taking a break from it. Teddy Hamilton and Maxine Mitchell do a fantastic job of bringing the characters and story to life!

I adored this story!

I adore this book!!! It has a hero, Cas Mathews, who is super alpha and protective without being “too much” of a jerk ;) and a heroine, Alta Johnson, who has been through so much but is trying to be a
bad@$$ in her own right.

“Every cell in Cas’s body was geared to take care of someone else, and it seemed he’d finally found the person he wanted to take care of. The person who would allow it.
Me.”

Cas was big, tough, rough around the edges and alpha enough to allow Alta to not always be so strong.

“But you, you’re perfectly broken in every way, making you the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met.”

This was one of those stories where I started highlighting a few passages that spoke to me and ended up with half of the book shaded in!!
I got this book on both kindle and audiobook so I could go back and forth with reading the ebook and listening to the audio and the narration was fantastic.
Mine To Protect was the first book I’ve read by this author but definitely won’t be the last!! I can’t wait to start Chandler’s story.

This is a amazing book from start to finish. I am overjoyed to have a book that show real life situations to help pull you in more. On the to the next book.

This book will have you guessing up until the end. Lots of suspense and some steamy scenes too. Great story and Teddy Hamilton and Maxine Mitchell were fantastic narrators.
