Sabrina Winters

I've turned into a shell of myself after something happened to me, something I can't face.

But when my father owes the Most Dangerous Man in New York, he only has one bargaining chip—Me.

I can feel the safe haven I've built crashing down around me as I stand face to face with the leader of the criminal underground—my future husband. Now I must navigate this unwanted marriage of convenience while never revealing the truth about myself or my past. Will all my efforts to rebuild myself be eradicated, or could there be more to him than I ever dreamed possible or will my past come back to haunt me and tear us apart?

SCREAM by Ruby M. Darling is a dark, emotional, and utterly captivating story that grabbed me from the first page and didn’t let go.

Sabrina, Raven’s best friend from the Rayne-Moore duet, has always had Parker at her side… her bodyguard, her constant shadow, and the man she’s never stopped teasing or secretly crushing on. But one night changes everything, leaving her fractured in ways that ripple through her life.

Now an accomplished lawyer, Sabrina finds herself trapped in the fallout of her father’s choices. Deep in debt to the mafia and tied to the syndicate, he bargains her future in exchange for survival, an arranged marriage to Maksim. Sabrina isn’t naïve about what’s happening, but she refuses to crumble. She faces it head-on, with Parker still at her side and Maksim stepping into her world in ways she never expected.

What follows is a powerful blend of grit, passion, and raw emotion. Sabrina’s resilience shines even in her darkest moments, and the relationships she builds with Parker’s quiet, steady devotion and Maksim’s surprising tenderness are as compelling as they are complicated. And when the truth of her past finally comes to light, the impact is shattering. The cliffhanger ending left me reeling… I need the next book immediately.

The audiobook is nothing short of phenomenal. Amy Hall embodies Sabrina with strength and vulnerability in equal measure, while Joe Arden brings every man in her orbit to life with precision. Parker’s southern drawl, Maksim’s commanding presence, even the cameos from Damon, Jonas, and Maverick each voice is distinct and unforgettable. It’s more than narration, it’s a performance.

Dark, emotional, and sensual, SCREAM delivers a story that’s impossible to put down. If you loved the Rayne-Moore duet, this spin-off will leave you breathless.

Devoured. Destroyed. And begging for seconds!

I love this book.
Like, full-body, emotional, “I’m texting my friends in ALL CAPS” love.

Scream is the start of a brand-new duet with brand-new characters, but don’t panic — Raven and her men are STILL here, still chaotic, still powerful, still giving main-character energy even when they’re not the focus.
BUT LISTEN:
You absolutely need to read the Raven books first or you will be lost, confused, and emotionally unprepared. This series is like a group chat — if you don’t read from the beginning, you’re missing all the tea.

This book follows Sabrina, Raven’s best friend, and she is EVERYTHING.
Smart. Strong. Messy in the best way.
And watching her get her own story?
I was screaming, kicking, throwing confetti — this girl deserves a whole franchise.

The world-building?
Still addictive.
The emotion?
Still brutal.
The drama?
Still top-tier.
Ruby Darling said, “What if we add MORE chaos?” and honestly, I applaud it.

And the audiobook??
Amy Hall and Joe Arden absolutely ate.
They didn’t read the story — they PERFORMED it.
They brought so much heat, tension, and emotion that I had to take water breaks like I was training for a marathon.

Final Thoughts:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A gripping, emotional, addictive spin-off that stands on its own while still feeding fans everything they love.
New characters, old favorites, more drama, more tension — I am obsessed.
I will be talking about this entire universe FOREVER.

I wanted to SCREAM I am Obsessed with this world.

Perfecrtion!!! I don't know how Ruby comes up with these stories, but they are pure crack. I love the appearances of Raven and her boys, but they didn't take from Sabrina's story at all. I swear Ruby writes book specifically to be audiobooks, because they always turn out to be the best audios. Amy Hall did incredible bringing all the sass and emotions od Sabrina. Joe Arden shouldn't even need reviews at this point because he always kills it. I love how many different male voices he does in this book and they all sound different. Absolutely amazing production from everyone involved

Ruby Freaking Darling!!!!

Absolutely loved this story and duet style audiobook! The performances were fantastic, and I am feral for these characters! This is an MFM arranged marriage, age gap, mafia vibes dark romance. Their story is beautiful, their relationships are swoon worthy, bringing all the heat and feels. This ends in a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to continue with this duet.

Phenomenal Story & Audiobook
