When the devil looks this good, it's hard to say "no."
Layla: Swiping right, while looking for a one night stand, I met the perfect man. Tristan Evans, a handsome, rich, and charming club owner who also happens to be an absolute god in the bedroom. Intrigued by his lifestyle, and blinded by his charm, I waste no time accepting his proposition. In exchange for a few favors, he'll train me to be the perfect submissive.
Tristan: I am a ruthless man who will stop at nothing to get exactly what I want, and what I want is Layla. With promises to train her to be the perfect submissive—my perfect submissive—she eagerly walks into my world. By the time she learns it's full of death and betrayal, it'll be too late. I'll already own her, and I'm never letting her go.

As a warning, this book deals with doms/subs and the world that entails. The audiobook was kind to give a heads up.
Layla and her gbff George (who is a scream; hope he gets his own story and Irish hunk) are at a pub when her drink is accidentally spilled on her by an intoxicating tall glass of water with an Irish accent. Her first interaction goes from hot with fury over her dress to hot with want thanks to too many adult beverages and swiping right on a dating app.
Layla reconnects online with Tristan, a playful, confident business owner with a new club like no other opening soon. And if Layla accepts his world he wants to contract her to, she’ll be opening up in more ways than one.
But Tristan, the eldest of his family of five brothers, cannot get too close to Layla beyond physical because of what the family ‘job’ truly is and recently, they have made a rival group dangerously mad.
This book does a decent job informing Layla and the readers of these type of relationships in this universe, but I felt at times it did a little too much telling and showing these experiences instead would have been more effective. And help the at times awkward pacing. But, this is a start of a series I believe, so maybe this one needed to set up the background first.
Layla and Tristian are entertaining characters, that might be bratty in their own, but seem to calm each other down while at the same time fueling the other up from the inside as much as the delicious outside pampering.
And if you need spice in an array of ways, this book has you covered…exposing lots of unique options to show passion. These brothers are also indeed close…
I can never brag enough about the narrators. I see their names, I get the audio. Simple and flawless system. But I must admit, they were really on that sweet spot performance wise for this genre. Logan Anare is the king of accents, but this Irish in particular was…whew. Prepare to melt repeatedly, guys and gals. And Lexi did the reactions with Layla richly, making you feel what our heroine did.
I am granting you permission to give this audiobook a try, good boys and girls.
