The narration was good, the story kept you on your feet, disturbing plot and love story. Still some loose ends where I thought author was creating a story line to have it fall off, but for most part good. One irritation in each book in the series....who calls their vagina "my sex" and "my cleft"...um no-one that is who...yet that is how Eva subconscious always referred to her pink taco. It was annoying to say the least and the fact Jill R. was able to continue reading without bursting out laughing was worth an applause. I'm sure she now says it as an inside joke after narrating 5 books which used the word hundreds/thousands of times. In real life Eva and Gideon both would have been sore and chafed having had that much sex and the submissive/dominate and quick peak at BDSM was just that...quick and never to be touched on again really. I never read the Fifty Shades books and ask these comparisons to that series...i think they are probably completely different but you'd have to listen to decide for yourself.
