Many readers did not rate this book highly but I enjoyed it. It reflected on Payne and her doctor and showed family dynamics between her and her brother that I feel helped the storyline. It may have not been the most in action or romance of the series but was well worth the read. So love the narrator; Would not be the same if another person narrated. My only suggestion for future long series would be to have an additional female narrator to cover the female characters.

I’m hooked on the Series.

It was ok. Not to thilled with the story. I enjoyed the others. ill move on to next.

Good story and performance. Great continuance of the serie's storylines. But the production was awful. Overly long and short pauses. Background voices and noises during pauses. Performance vocal track quality changes midsentence. And a sentence duplication. Producers should be ashamed to put their names on, much less at the end of, this.

Okay, so I had to give this book almost 100%. The narrator is really good however there are times when the characters sound the same. Not a biggee though. However, this is my opinion and mine only. Now I'm not talking about this author being a classical author but what I want to stress is that this is the only author I've heard in this genre that speaks in today's venacular. Imagine using the word "conversate?" I don't think this word is correct. Whether it is or not, it's used perfectly. I love dialogue and the slang abbreviations. The narrator is excellent and the story adventurous and yes, steamy. I usually don't like a lot of "steamy" but honestly, she does it well. And sometimes I just want to get to the adventure so when I do I fast forward. This book is one of my favorites. An earlier book from this series I didn't like and absolutely wrote about it. Now, if you are uncomfortable with a man loving another man (not too deep, she does it well) don't listen.

No judgement, just letting you know.

Listen to the "Fallen Angels" series from this same author. She actually brought one character from this book into Fallen Angels.

As a matter of fact, depending on your listening mood, it's even better than this one because it's smoother, not as intense. HOWEVER, if you're in the mood for intensity, listen to the BD series. There's a few like the one about " If you want a steady adventure go to the Fallen Angels.

I didn't like "Lover Revealed" and wrote about it. This one however is a romantic, adventurous, manly-man vampire book. Loved it.
