What did you love best about Irresistible?

What about Avery Wolf and a full cast ’s performance did you like?

Have you heard Avery's voice? Come on..... Deep, gravelly, wonderful.
Some of the voices I didn't care about, they got lost in the mix or just faded into the words they were saying, but I thought overall everyone did a great job. I can't imagine erotica is an easy genre to narrate well.

Any additional comments?

I would not generally consider myself an erotica fan because I frequently find the situations incredibly unrelatable and too far removed from reality to be properly enjoyed. I know some people want extreme fantasy, it just usually isn't my cup of tea for written erotica. While some of the stories are entirely unbelievable (but still hot, don't get me wrong), there are several gems in this compilation that I've already listened to a few times. I love the variety of couples featured in the stories, from new couples to those who have grown children and are rediscovering each other. I also greatly appreciate the range of situations; there is a story for everyone in this--sweet to smoldering and all very sexy.

I didn't listen to this with my husband, he's not too keen on non-visual erotica... yet. But he has definitely benefited from these stories.

Would you consider the audio edition of Irresistible to be better than the print version?

I actually haven't read the print version, However, I would say that the characters voices brought to life bring a new dimension to these stories and makes the them even more enjoyable.

What other book might you compare Irresistible to and why?

Irresistible has something that I'm not used to in erotica, in that the main characters are long standing friends or couples and they are evolving within the story. However, the tone and lilt, teamed with the stories overall vocabulary are very much reminiscent of the House of Delights Series, in that you are eased into the story and coasted along on pure enjoyment.

What does Avery Wolf and a full cast bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Well Averys voice is nothing to be shy about. It's like Sandpaper, wrapped in granite and then covered in silk. It definitely brings the male voices something different. The Female narrator has a light and airy voice that lends the listener to be relaxed into the story. While on certain parts, there was the faint hum or sound of audio noise, when Avery or the narrator where prevalent is wasn't an issue.

All in all it's a fabulous collection of both sweet and "Savory" stories that lend themselves different from what is offered out there.

Stories range from original creative to mostly "paint by the numbers" man/woman stories. Narrators , especially one male narrator sound unpolished, even awkward and quality of recording, itself, sounds like it was done in a basement.

SEMI-GOOD STORIES, SO-SO NARRATION

Some of the stories were awesome, while others were just okay. But having the Romance Package made it okay. Listen all you want for one monthly price. The listen was okay but the package is wonderful.

This book is a series of smexy little reads. Some of them were really hot and others only made it to lukewarm. I don't mind quick hot reads, I have just come to a place I prefer a story around my steam. This is great for somebody who is looking for the steam alone. Each story has a little set-up, but the sex is more the point than an in-depth story.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Avery Wolf and a host of other voices. It has more of a radio play feel. Personally I found the changes jarring, but I was doing a one sitting listen. I am sure if couples listened they would space things out and probably not notice the changes as much. I liked the tone and pace, just wasn't feeling all the extra voices.

Overall this was a smexy read but I think it is more for couples to listen together or somebody only looking for steam to heat them up.
