I get the vision. Feed was my first soiree into monster romance and a now considering my training wheels are completely off and I'm here for the flying sex 😆 Anywhodles, these two bring out the hidden pieces of each other. For Avrin she hates it, but Pye on the other hand is down for whatever. I thought the narrator captured Avrin's control really well but missed Pye's slick mouth. Either way, the setup for what's to come is chef's kiss.

This was short, steamy, and very fun.
I’m a new reader of Aveda Vice and this novella makes me excited to read more books by this author!!! The author successfully made sexy two things I don’t usually read; workplace romance and moth type monsters but it works very well in this and I look forward to reading what happens with these two characters next in Yours, Insatiably.

To say I’ve been in love with Pye and Avirin for years would be an understatement. I was obsessed when I first read the ebook version, and the audiobook has only worked to feed that obsession. It was such a joy to revisit the beginning of Avirin and Pye’s story, and, in a way, get to experience it for the first time again. I thought the narrator did a great job capturing the vibes of the story and the tension between Pye and Avi. I did feel some Pye’s snarky charm was missing. (But, in all fairness, I HAVE read the ebook version MULTIPLE times and have a very specific idea of Pye’s voice in my head.)

The Feed audiobook really was a delight—I’ve already listened to it twice—and I cannot wait to experience the rest of Avi and Pye’s story all over again in the new audiobook of Yours, Insatiably!

Reread: 11/2023 - THIS IS ON AUDIO NOW! I loved this when I had Alexa read it to me, but it’s so much better with an actually audiobook narrator, these two have SO much chemistry I can barely handle it. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out on audio!

This book was a great way to draw you into reading the full length novel, Yours, Insatiably. Aside from the workplace rivals to lovers dynamic between the two main characters, I love the idea of this app that is basically like DoorDash for monsters. The heroine is a succubus who needs to feed regularly, so she uses the app, but the person who responds is not who she expects. Keep in mind that there is no real HEA at the end of this book and it is super short

I received a copy of the audiobook from the author in exchange for an honest review. this is an introduction/ first night together for Arivin and Pye before their full story in Yours, Insatiably. this novella was my introduction to Aveda years ago, I'm so happy we finally get these books captured in audio.
the tension that comes with the mcs being work rivals made the surrender and teasing so much hotter🥵🔥 I'm very excited to continue their story and see if any of those confessed workplace fantasies come to life. the narrator preformed Pye very well! the praise and the scene where Pye collars Arivin actually made my face heat and jaw drop. I only knocked off a star for the reading being a bit slower than I personally like and Arivin's speaking voice.
listening at 1.4x worked to make the reading pace more natural for me to follow, so that was not too much of a problem. as for Arivin's voice, I wish that instead of trying to speak in a soft high tone for Arivin, the narrator would've leaned into a deep feminine tone, if possible. I think it would've worked better. it might just be me being a deeper voiced they/she, but I feel that deep feminine voices are sexy and would suit a succubus perfectly!

For a little prequel it packs quite the spicy punch. We get a good idea of the characters, their combined past, and their fantastic chemistry. Definitely looking forward to the rest of their story.

As someone who doesn’t listen to audiobooks very often, it can be hard for me to really get into them. But I am a huge fan of the original work, and when offered a free audiobook copy in exchange for a review, I just couldn’t refuse. And it did not disappoint! The characters are so well thought out and this book is THE book that got me into forbidden office romance. And, the narrator does such an amazing job of giving voice to these characters that it was so easy to follow along with. And the voice he uses for Pye? Delicious! The only issue I had was that I wasn’t the biggest fan of the voice he used for Avi at times. Overall a 4.5/5!

Finally got to hear Pye!
