This one didn’t go back into the previous story A’s much as the last one had, which I appreciated. I like how this story played out. There were a few things I wish were elaborated at in this, like action scenes where both main characters weren’t there for. This one wasn’t as action packed as the previous book but it was still interesting enough to keep listening to and waiting for the next book to come out.

I loved this book I have read all of Lexi's other wolf-based books and loved them all, and this was no different! I love the domanant but gentle alpha's that were always ready to take control when their mate's needed it, but so obsessed and loving any other time. I love the slow burn that built strong anticipation between them. I love the thought that she puts into each one of the characters that gives them their own history and depth.
My only gripe (and it's a big one for me) is the 🌶🌶🌶 parts are a bit broken up. They contain so much internal thought it is hard to keep up with what they are actually doing. I mean I guess it draws it out, and let's you know how the characters are coming together, but I think it could be toned down a little

The story was awesome, narration was absolutely wonderful, but the pacing of the 🌶🌶🌶 bits was a bit off.

Excellent Addition to the Series! While each book in this series can be enjoyed as a standalone, I highly recommend starting from the beginning to fully immerse yourself in the intricately built Sectors and their dynamics. I’ve been eagerly awaiting Killian and Evana’s story! Vana has been a thorn in Killian’s side for ages, constantly vying for his attention and hoping he’ll claim her as his mate. But Killian, ever the dutiful Second to the King, is determined to live a life of service, forsaking love and pushing her away at every turn. That is… until someone else shows interest.

When Vana gives up and enters the Omega pool (a kind of ceremonial meet-and-greet for unmated Alphas and Omegas), Killian's long-buried feelings start to shift. Especially when Kale, a powerful and very interested rival Alpha, enters the picture with his sights set firmly on Evana.I absolutely adored Evana’s character. She’s feisty, sharp-witted, and more than capable of holding her own. She is exactly the kind of Omega to keep Killian on his toes.As always, the narration was superb. I’m a longtime fan of Kale Williams and Lisa Zimmerman, and they delivered a perfectly matched performance that brought these characters to life beautifully.
