I enjoyed listening to this book and listening to the narrator.some of the story of the male part was unrealistic but over all very good.

😷 Dr. (B)Ridge Cooper and his wife, Dr. Jen Cooper (I presume) split apart after a tragic accident that left them both with the terrible loss. As divorce looms, an unexpected twist force them back together. Will they become more than roommates that satisfy their basic instincts? Will Jen forgive him? Or is there anything to forgive?

This is my first experience with Teddi Sterling narrating. I am VERY impressed with this 5 star performance (I rarely award 5 stars.) I will look for her work in the future, as she is a tremendous vocal performer.

This short story does contain a lot of material intended for mature audiences only. Descriptions of sex.

Although *I was provided a copy of this novella in exchange for my opinion, the reader should know that I really enjoyed both Rhonda Lee Carver's writing and Teddi Sterling's narration. I intend to look for and add both of them to my Wish List for future entertainment – that is something that rarely happens.

Second chance romance? Yes please. I'm a sucker for a couple fixing their relationship and this book does not disappoint.

There's chemistry - lots of chemistry - and lots of emotional stuff going on.

It's beautifully written and made me laugh and cry.

The narration is excellent, great character voices and a delivery that drew me in and helped me love the characters.
