The last time I spoke was eight years ago when my best friend tried to kill me. I never dreamed my silence would break with a scream. This is my very first time listening to an audiobook with a full cast and it was phenomenal. The narrator’s capture each emotion and character extremely well. I would dare say, so well that I’ll never see audiobooks the same way again 😆. I am now a complete fan of full cast audio books .
Now on to the story! I got hooked from the very first page.
The prologue starts off with Sirena at a very young age. Her best friend tries to unalive her and it changes the trajectory of her entire life. She becomes mute, to cope,and becomes extremely distrustful of men. Then we fast forward to current day, she’s 17 years old . Her step father is extremely religious and he decides that she is so far from help that she needs to seek the Lord. They up end her to chapel crest ( her mother did absolutely nothing to stop him!!!).
Then we enter chapel crest and she meets the 4 men that will impact her life in ways she never imagined. They all start off wanting to be emotionally distant from her, but that quickly changes. You’ll have to pick up the book to find out how and why that changes . Enjoy the ride 😆.
This is a dark academia bully romance, so I would
check the trigger warnings before reading. I definitely plan to continue the series

The narrators such great balance and just how much they dig deep into these characters and bring they raw emotions and psychological trauma & impacted each character has gone through in past and present.
