Kings of Temptation are just that! The men in this series are each completely different but oh so tempting. This features Nico. He and his brother Marco are running their company and trying to take out their half brothers, Dante and Luca. Nico's eye has been caught by Maisy. Just escaping an abusive marriage, she is trying to get her life together. This does not stop Nico from stalking her, causing him more distraction than is affordable. Will these two find they are perfectly suited or will Maisy go back to her husband Jasper? This book is packed with action and passion. Nico and Maisy are explosive together! And the story line expertly woven in includes action and gritty darkness. I love the characters, Nico is tough as nails and a teddy bear on the inside. Maisy is quirky, strong and shows her wild side. Getting to know all the brothers and what they find out is just icing on the cake for me. Betrayal, love, obsession, family, it's all there and it's a fabulous listen.

Tor Thom and Fiona Clare bring this gem to life with fabulous voices. Thom pulls out a voice for Nico, giving him a powerful, yet vulnerable when needed sound. Clare is Maisy, keeping her strong and focused on what is important. These two work so well together and bring a chemistry to these characters that is powerful. Loved it!

This story will keep you on the edge of your seat whilst reading or listening. The narration by Thor Thom and Fiona Claire was spot on. Their voices are easy to listen to and diverse and they did justice to the story that relatively new to me author Sienna Cross wove. Told in duet narration this added to my enjoyment as I listened. Both Thor and Fiona brought all the passion and danger to their performances and held me captive.
 
There was a lot going on in Brutal King. I am not a huge reader of Mafia romance, it is not a genre that I read very often, however this was a good listen. This is a story of danger, suspense and love and ticked it numerous boxes for me.
 
Full of twists and turns and some surprises I did not see coming this book will keep you invested from the first to the last word.
