That Evan Jordan and Alyssa poon are the narrator's they make any story come alive and having you feel like you just jumped into the story. Though this actual series is great with mystery, discovery and so much adventure on earth and in the gloom.

I have all the other books in this series on my Kindle and I can't wait till all the others have Audible narration as well . These people do a great job with different types of voices. turning a Kindle book that's great fun into a "radio play" that adds that extra layer to enjoy. congratulations to everyone who worked on this.

there were a few moments where i had to rely on my suspension of disbelief, but it's fantasy. that's the point.

I loved this audio book. good news is there are 19 more (so far) in this series, the bad news is that the author only put book 1 on audible. all the other volumes are only available from the authors website.

After finishing Scholomance (which was great btw) I tried a couple titles from other authors. While not bad they definitely don’t come close to the worlds and stories Mr. Jacobs conjures up. The ONLY complaint I could possibly have (this is being pretty nitpicky) would be a little over explaining a couple times. Other than that 5 stars all the way. I’m starting book 2 soon as I finish typing this!

Ibseth is the most amazingly sweet woman and Amrila is a true badass. Hopefully more of these books will be added to the Audible catalog so we can enjoy the story in this format.

A secret door in your backyard leads to the equivalent of the Underdark, where vast dangers and hot babes await. What could possibly go wrong?
Kinda wild to see guns introduced from the "world above" to a fantasy setting.
It's not bad. Not amazing, but not bad. But it does feature a beautiful, submissive elf that enjoys doing domestic duties in a french maid outfit, so what's not to like?
