I was on the fence with the first book due to the weird disconnect the main characters have from mortals but soon learned to like it. the spicy scenes were good too. im still liking the story and characters but the spiciness is feeling a bit overdone. look, Cole, I get it your the big bad in charge. but holy crap does it get annoying. its the same stuff over and over. "do what I say" "im in charge" "meh". at some point it comes off as him being overly in love with himself and that hes one dimensional. I hope things get better. sure i get hes the leader but his sex life is boring and only really shines because of the different girls. the lines are also forced sounding especially when they do it in the secret room. I thought someone was controlling them with how bad the dialogue was. I dont normally skip spicy scenes but its almost cringy at this point. im invested in the story so ill still get the next book but I need the bedroom talk to change or at least be more versatile

Well LJ has done it again. Great action, interesting storyline, and left just enough questions that I want more. Look forward to the next book.

the book makes me feel a bit uncomfortable at times but the story is intriguing and I can not wait to see what happens next

This is when I stopped reading and listening to this series. There's nothing wrong with it, per se, except that the plot moves too slow and the MC has the exact same relationship dynamic with every single girl in his harem. After reading three or four books in the series, you generally get the idea that you have seen everything there is to see with this series. I may pick it back up again one day because I've heard about a particular threeway in one of the last books that interests me, but we'll see.

I love this series. Enjoyable characters and the story line is great. The harem aspect doesn't bother me at all.

Book 4 throws some curveballs you don't expect. Logan did a great job. The only part I struggled with was the ending
sex scene. Begins very erotic, but it loses steam...it's really loooooooong. Other than that, it's terrific.

The acting is amazing as always. I love the dialogue between Cole and Alexander. Chris does a fantastic job and brings
the characters to life. I can actually picture the characters in my mind as they go back in forth in conversations. Well done Mr. Boucher. Jessica amazes me. How she keeps all the voices with the right characters is very impressive. As Cole adds more witches to his coven, I look forward to the direction Jessica takes new characters.
