Austin, an Audiobook by Piper Stone is book 5 in the Montana Bad Boys series and is the story of Austin and Francesca. She gives him a ride, though she knows nothing about him! He is a dangerous man…but, he discovers that she is in serious danger…and he wants to protect her.

This story was narrated by Thomas Locklear whose incredible voice is stellar in this performance!
Very good listen all around!!!

Sweet and spicy. with a big helping of mystery, Austin is the story of a band of brothers who served together in the marines, and lived by the code of leaving no man behind. They are haunted by the reality that one of their own was lost and the pain runs deep. Austin "Vader" Bridges is hitchhiking his way back to Missoula, MT and Francesca "Franny" Montgomery is on the same road and, for some reason, picks him up. They spend the night in a motel having combustible sex, until the hotel goes up in flames. She is a US senator, for heaven's sake, and you would think that this is out of character, but you would be wrong. They agree that this was only one night and they part ways with no intention of seeing each other again, but fate has a way of stepping in and changing those intentions. When they run into each other in Missoula, all bets are off and they pick up where they left off. It appears that the fire at the motel was not only suspicious, but one of a string of unexplained fires. Someone is behind the arson and Franny and Austin won't stop doing their own investigation until they find the criminal. This is an edge of your seat kind of book. It has twists and turns with plenty of intrigue. It's a wonderful story and the characters are believable and  multi-faceted. With swoon-worthy moments that will give you "the feels," you'll thoroughly enjoy this well-paced and well-written romance. This was a 5* review for me until that amazing ending made it 6*! Thomas Locklear is an exceptional narrator who brings this story to life. His dynamic voice gives each character a unique personality.

Wow what a ride when Piper lets loose she is amazing. This was stunning This was a another classic read that left me feeling more than satisfied in all the right places this was pure gold .

Narrated by: Thomas Locklear he was so good my favorite narrater he brings you into the story .
Over all this is a 5 star read .

I did not expect the ending of this audiobook!!! WOW!!!! Piper is always awesome! Same with Thomas!!!! Can't say any more so I don't give anything away! This is a MUST listen!!!

Austin and Franny’s story was one heck of a ride. This series has held such heartbreak, healing, fear, and love. A gamut of emotions. Hope being the one you feel the most towards the end of this one. I can only hope that we get 1 more Montana Bad Boys story! Thomas Locklear has nailed the narration of this series!

I couldn't stop listening to this book. Austin like all of the Montana Bad Boys suffers PTSD especially from one devastating incident. He is definitely an alpha male. Franny is a tough woman that has unknown demons threatening her. She can't figure out why she would want to become involved with a sexually dominating man like Austin. I love how Piper creates such protective men like Austin and the Montana Bad Boys. Kudos to Piper for giving me a surprise. Thomas Locklear as always gives a stunning performance with his portrayal of male and female characters. His voice for Austin will set you on fire so have a hose nearby. I love listening to him.

Wow this was great listen as book five in the series it was amazing and full of action and adventure. The characters Austin and Fran are a intriguing couple and I enjoyed there story. Narration was spot on and a pleasure to listen to.

Words can't explain how wonderful this book was. Had me in tears at the end. Great job to Piper Stone for a great series. And of course Thomas Locklear done an amazing job.
Can't wait for the next series.

mmm mmm good. So delicious, right up to the last bite!!! When Austin confronted Mitchell with a warning, I melted. Right then I knew he was all in for Fran , his woman. The bait scene threw me off for a minute , but then I got right back in the saddle. This was a great series and the ending was beyond epic. I was hoping, but afraid to hope too much. Well done author and narrator. Stupendous!!! This one will stay in my "memory bank" for a while- a LONG while!!! Great characters and storyline that I've come to expect from this author. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did an excellent job bringing the characters and storyline to life. Thanks Thomas and Piper. Kudos!!
