A dark modern adaptation of beauty and the beast. Collin is a loan shark type gangster. Lilly follows her dad through the dark streets to see why he's being sketchy. To save her dad she offers herself as collideral to Collin.

The narrator also is really good, she just is whispering/ talking in a hushed tone. Being a mom of 2 small kids this did make me fall asleep. I get that she was going for a sautry sexy voice.

Sweet, steamy, and oh so hot. Lily tames the beast in Colin when she gives herself to him in place of her father. Narrator was excellent and did justice to Ms Bray's story.

Very dirty, spicy, short version of Beauty and the Beast. Great story line. Narration was a little off. Overall enjoyed the book. Colin is a powerful man who acquires Lily cause of her dads debt to him. Colin has an instant carnal attraction to her. It takes Lily just a short while to realize his intent. Colin may be a beast but he has a soft spot for her and will do anything to keep her. Spice level is HOT!

I did really liked the story, I really did, but it was missing chapter 8 and I've got to scramble to know what happened, the story about his father and mother. Collin was good main character, but I don't know why he does what he does. The narrator did a good job and I'm overall, it was a good audiobook.

There will be scenes in this book that will live in my brain rent free. Colin was hot so hot. Lily has had it rough growing up. Her father puts her in a precarious situations where she has to spend time with Colin and omg was it the best time.

Lily's father has a gambling and drinking problem. Lily's father owes money he can't pay. Lily follow him to a ally and hears her father being threatened. Lily offers herself up as collateral until her dad can repay the debt. When the man steps out of the darkness of the ally he looks like a huge beast with one side of his face scarred. The beast is Collin. Collin takes Lily home to his mansion. There is instant attraction between the two. Collin thinks Lily is beautiful but a spitfire. Lily thinks Collin is cocky and bossy. Collin wants to be with Lily but Lily won't stay if she's a prisoner. Collin let's Lily go despite how he feels. Collin wants Lily to choose him willingly and freely. Lily goes home to her dad to find he is yet again in more trouble and drug her into the trouble again. Luckily for Lily Collin was coming to make sure she made it home safely. Collin rescues Lily and tells her dad to get his act together. Short but sweet story.

A Beauty For The Beast is a dominant, alpha, age gap HEA. Taking a girl for her Father's debt seemed like a good idea until he falls for her. I enjoyed this audiobook and the narrator was great. Easy to listen to.
