Mariana isn’t the kind of woman I ever expected to have a chance with. Not when I’m a rough enforcer, someone who shouldn’t be within 10 feet of anyone as innocent as Mariana. But I can’t shake my need to have her, and when she looks at me with those big eyes, I can feel the heat behind them. She wants me just as badly.

So I take her, all of her, and I claim her body and soul for myself. She’s the only one who’s ever been able to tame my violent heart.

But we have a past full of shadows, and there’s one in particular we’ll have to face before we can start our new life together. Even so, I’ll never let Mariana slip through my fingers, no matter what.

I LOVE MINK

This is a real short one but im hopeful more will come! i have waited forever for another to be released on audible. I have read every book out and this is not my fav. and is a add on from another book not on audible. no back story so seems it is just sex. come on so many amazing books and this one is put on audible. Did not like female narrator all other books are MacKenzie Cartwright. I also prefer Lance!

Capturing His Kitten

this book was superbly narrated, I've become such a fan of the duel narration used in books. I love possessive men who take women and make them their own and become overly protective of them. This book has absolutely that and it was a delight to listen to.

Dark Romance and a random kitten

This author has a couple of frisky novellas that combine danger and cats,
but in a fun, light hearted way (Hitman’s Prey and Snow Angel).

This novella is not fun at all.
Instead, this is Dark Romance, where they revel in being part of the criminal underworld.
I’m not sure this should even be called romance.
This is just thug sex interspersed with thug violence.
The HEA is them reigning as mafia King and Queen and glorying in killing a man.
Oh, and there’s a two second random plot about adopting a kitten.
Hard pass on all of it and the clunky narration.
