Publisher's summary

The word is out, and the fight is on for civilization to prove that cannabis, also known as marijuana, is the next superdrug. What fascinates me is our body's prebuilt system that feeds off of endocannabinoids, which are contained in plants such as the marijuana plant. I became interested with endocannabinoids because of their responsibility in creating the "runner's high" with which all long-distance and endurance athletes are quite familiar.

When I went to review this system out of fascination with its potency just from running for a long time, I found much more positive information about this system in all of our bodies that no one talks about. Join me in this audiobook to be fascinated by a system that makes our immune system look minuscule.

Strong Orthodox Support

This author gives fast, clean, and powerful deep story at glance.

I think he’s a force for good on the planet and helping us see without false claims that hemp oil, cbd, htc supports the body in learning how to care for its self at a more comprehensive level as well as how other plants do that a little too!

Deliver is with clear empowered conviction yet specific pronunciation lacking at times.

That said -the love is palpable.

Medical cover up?

I looked up Endocannaboid System, this is what Wiki says "The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a biological system composed of endocannabinoids, which are endogenous lipid-based retrograde neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors, and cannabinoid receptor proteins that are expressed throughout the mammalian central nervous system (including the brain) and peripheral nervous system. The endocannabinoid system is involved in regulating a variety of physiological and cognitive processes including fertility,[1] pregnancy,[2] during pre- and postnatal development,[3] appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory, and in mediating the pharmacological effects of cannabis.[4][5] The ECS is also involved in mediating some of the physiological and cognitive effects of voluntary physical exercise in humans and other animals, such as contributing to exercise-induced euphoria as well as modulating locomotor activity and motivational salience for rewards.[6][7][8][9] In humans, the plasma concentration of certain endocannabinoids (i.e., anandamide) have been found to rise during physical activity;[6][7] since endocannabinoids can effectively penetrate the blood–brain barrier, it has been suggested that anandamide, along with other euphoriant neurochemicals, contributes to the development of exercise-induced euphoria in humans, a state colloquially referred to as a runner's high."

SO, now that you know, I can tell you that Clinger does an amazing job in explaining all of that in easy to follow terms, while still being informative. He discusses how Endocannabinoids can actually fight cancer and reduce tumors, and are beingtotally ignored by the medical community. This would be a great introduction for someone with cancer to learn about this topic, or for a student to use as an aid or a reference in writing a paper.

Remington does great work narrating for Clinger. He is easy to follow, understand, and he adds something to what could be plain narrative. Even though I did receive a promo code for this review it in no way influenced my considerations of the material, and in fact, inspired me to be more honest. In fact, getting a code generally makes me harsher as a reviewer as I am more often concerned what someone like Me will decide based on my review. So take my word for it, this is some fine fun writing.

A long road to human evolution

Loved it, but the narrator was a little shaky. This is new territory for all of us in the field, which makes this book indispensable for beginners. There's a long and winding road ahead, that will lead to logical common sense thinking about medicines and medical practice that actually works for healing the patient. This reading is good as any right now for wetting the appetite of those with less knowledge that want to know more.

Great educational information

Love the book! Only issue is that the man cannot pronounce the words correctly, Endocannabinoid and Cannabinoid are mispronounced.

Great info

This is short but has wonderful information. The narrorator needs to slow down and pause between paragraphs. It sounds as if its all read as one lump sentence. Which made it difficult to retain what was being spoken about. I personally couldn't tell where one topic left off and another was started. The topic is growing and its hard to find information about so this was nice but hard to listen to. I would still recommend.

Too Clinical!

The subject matter is awesomely covered; however, this book is a must for a medical student or even a seasoned medical practitioner; however, as a layman the reader came-off rather robotic and that sure didn’t help…btw, I was really glad that the 19mins was over, that’s right folks, it’s 15mins!!!

Good Summary of the ECS

The narrator couldn't pronounce endocannabinoid.. pronounced it differently throughout the reading. Informational essays like this need a narrator who at least knows how to pronounce the material.

Poor pronunciation of scientific terminology

The reader mispronounced several of the scientific terms used in this "book". This made it hard to focus on the content being read. Also, a very loose interpretation of the endocannabinoid system. Need more objective information rather than personal beliefs about cannabis and its potential. For example, no scientist or medical professional would suggest inhalation as an acceptable medicinal use of cannabis.
